Bahamian voters would need to push corrupt politicians aside for things to get better. But too many voters today have been given both a D- education in our public education system and a low paying government job by the very corrupt and greedy political ruling class. The quality of life and standard of living for most Bahamians will therefore continue to decline until massive civil unrest sets in and rules the day because Bahamians no longer have a democratic system of government. And that's the big picture real problem facing our nation that is allowing the Chinese Communist Party to rule supreme over us via their puppets like PM Davis and former PMs Minnis, Christie and Ingraham.
For decades now our corrupt politicians have been selling the best our nation has to offer as an ideally located tourist destination to Royal Caribbean and other polluting cruise ship enterprises for the mere crumbs they inject into our economy. Cruise ship passengers are a lower class of tourist who get fleeced by the cruise ship companies, leaving them with little if anything to spend in our economy that benefits Bahamians.
Long ago our nation should have exclusively marketed itself as a high-end premier destination for much wealthier land based tourists who stay in lavish hotels and vacation in luxurious sea side villas. Had this been done, many Bahamians would today have decent paying jobs and the self-esteem of being able to feed themselves and their families instead of being dependent on the very occasional food handouts of the greediest enterprises on our planet, the very despicable cruise ship enterprises like Royal Caribbean.
A full belly at Christmas time will do little to ease the hunger for much of the rest of the year. Bahamians need decent paying jobs and the ability to buy their own food rather than rely on the charity of foreign enterprises that occasionally handout food as a publicity stunt that seeks to curry favour with our dumber than dumb corrupt government officials.
And why hasn't the woman in that photo been arraigned and then locked up for having intentionally used her vehicle in an effort to cause potentially deadly harm to a police officer?
You are really a lost cause. Both Baha Mar and The Bahamas would be much better off today had the corrupt Christie led government not wrongfully intervened to assist the Communist Chinese controlled enterprises with their grand rip-off scheme. And history is replete with examples of nations destroyed by corruption promoted by the greedy political ruling class for self-gain. Just think of all the high quality FDI that has snubbed The Bahamas over the past decade or so to find a home in other much less corrupt nations that still respect the rule of law.
Rubbish. SBF is nothing but a common embezzler who thought he could buy immunity from stealing from others by showering corrupt and politicians and greedy members of the elitist political ruling class with a good portion of what he stole.
True racists are always the first ones to cry racism. And as many of us in The Bahamas have come to realize, and the people of many African nations already know, few on this planet think less of black people than the Communist Chinese who from birth are indoctrinated to believe the people of Communist China are the supreme race deserving of one day ruling the world.
