I smell a corrupt PM who, using his dumbo AG Pinder as his pied piper of choice on all matters relating to "juicy" BPL contracts, is paving the way for the Bahamian people to be bitten by a poisonous Snake. And lying in wait with their already selected foreign partners are the other greedy and financially interested local scoundrels who are also licking their chops at the prospect of feasting on the wealthier electricity consumers using an income based rate structure.

I would encourage all persons deeply concerned about the disastrous consequences to flow from the new Electricity and Natural Gas Bills to read Claude Hanna's excellent letter to the Editor of The Tribune that was published in a late April.

The letter concisely addresses the unconstitutional, national security and many other most serious issues that these two new statutes will expose and subject our nation and its people to.
The dire consequences Bahamians will face from the enactment of these two bills should deservedly be politically owned and worn around the neck of every current sitting PLP member of parliament and all future candidates for a PLP seat in parliament.

Opposition leader Pintard and the entire leadership apparatus of the FNM party should be taking immediate appropriate steps to publicly announce their intent to fully repeal the two statutes for constitutional and national security reasons, not to mention the frightening impact of extremely high costs for electricity consumers, especially those deemed to be wealthier. This should be one of the first acts of Pintard and his cabinet if the FNM is successful in winning a controlling majority of seats in the next general election.

Snake and his local and foreign cronies were instrumental in the drafting of the new electricity and LNG statutes for their own self-gain which will come at a great cost to the Bahamian people. This most corrupt Davis led PLP government has paved the way for these greedy crooks to reap and enjoy the huge windfall profits they so eagerly await, while leaving the Bahamian taxpayers on the hook for all of BPL's existing debts amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars. Pintard needs to get off of his duff and make this unequivocally known to all concerned, especially Bahamian voters.

One of the most useless and most costly cabinet ministers the Bahamas has ever had. Hanna-Martin's primary focus has always been on putting as many unproductive voters in her constituency as possible on either the government's payroll or somehow sucking on government welfare programs of one kind or another.

can you just imagine her and others like her passing legislation that will allow them to determine which customers can and cannot afford to pay for the electricity they consume, with the government designated wealthier having to pay much higher electricity costs for the purpose of subsidizing the much lower electricity costs that would be billed to those designated less wealthy !!!!!!!
Meanwhile the foreign owned hotels, resorts and other developments will continue to get their generous electrical power concessions and government departments, agencies and SOE's will remain BPL's biggest delinquent debtors, to the tune of mega millions of dollars.
No sane Bahamian should ever vote for any PLP party candidate ever again. The party is no longer progressive ........ it is now a down right authoritarian communist regime!

If you vote time and time again for corrupt politicians to hold elected office, you obviously eventually end up with a lawless and impoverished country. All voters should never forget the adage: *You eventually reap what you have sown.*

If Pintard is successful in becoming our next PM, he really needs to make sure Boogie-Eyed Kwasi has absolutely **no** role to play in the ministry of finance. Pintard would be wise to court competent new blood for his government's ministry of finance. The same goes for the many other cabinet posts in a Pintard led government. If Pintard doesn't do so, he too will all too quickly become a "one-and-done" PM.

Not to mention the $200,000 plus that corrupt stumpy Davis forced taxpayers to spend on his new fully loaded and very plush BMW so that his already well padded tush is not made too uncomfortable while riding over the enormous potholes in our roads. This most corrupt PM meets every definition of crook and therefore detests transparency and has great disdain for any kind of government oversight by the people.

If we had an effective FOIA, frequent flier Freddy Boy would have long ago been ousted from politics given the mega-millions of dollars he has wasted and squandered over many years jet setting all over the place and establishing ridiculously opulent and over-staffed diplomatic offices in other countries around the world.

She's an outright liar. Even senior representatives of the automobile insurers readily admit that at least 40% of the vehicles on our roads today are uninsured because their owners/drivers simply cannot afford to pay the outrageously high insurance premiums now being charged.

And why has this lying woman not yet been charged and locked up for attempting to harm or kill a police officer by running him over with her vehicle??!!

Enforcement as a tool in this matter only works if a great majority of vehicle owners have sufficient money in their pockets where they can afford to be fleeced by the insurers who are now charging outrageously high insurance premiums. But that is not the case in our country where the divide between the "haves" and the "have nots" has become huge and the great majority of our population now fall into the bucket of struggling "have nots" who can barely afford to pay for food, medicines, electricity, water, etc.

These amendments to the Road Traffic Act are simply unconstitutional and unenforceable. No government will ever have either the political will or the means to fine, confiscate vehicles or imprison the "have not" owners of vehicles who make up the great majority of our country's population today.

The greedy insurers promoting these amendments to the Road Traffic Act will quickly come to realise that without the eradication of the ever increasing wide spread poverty in our society, their business model is doomed. And the financial institutions making loans to buyers of vehicles also need to re-think their business model against the backdrop of the vast majority of our society who now fall within the bucket of "have nots" with no means to pay outrageously high vehicle insurance premiums.

This sleazy thug continues to be allowed by this corrupt Davis led PLP government to leverage and launder his ill-gotten proceeds of criminal activities in ways that take away many legitimate business opportunities for honest, decent and hardworking Bahamians.

Because of this contemptible thug our country is still without the national lottery so desperately needed to help fund our grossly under-resourced and dysfunctional public education and public health care systems. He has been for decades now pocketing profits from his gaming web shops and other illegal endeavours that should have been going towards the funding of so many more important public projects.

The Bahamian people should never ever forget that the corrupt PLP government led by Vomit Christie with Slo Mo Alfred Sears as AG, legalized the racketeering criminal activities of the numbers bosses notwithstanding the great majority of Bahamians who opposed doing so at the time. And to think the elitist PLP hierarchy and their favoured cronies have the temerity to portray themselves as "progressives" for the Bahamian people. Talk about poppy-cock!!
