Is this a joke?

SBF and his cohorts will all be out of prison before this liquidation is completed.

Also, the claims of creditors paid out in a slow drip-by-drip manner are guaranteed to have been severely diminished by both outrageous ongoing liquidation costs as well as the high rate of inflation in these times. In other words, the poor creditors must brace themselves for the royal screwing by liquidation costs on top of the royal screwing they got from SBK and his cohorts in crime in the first place. This will surely be too much financial pain for many of the creditors!

> “Nevertheless, external reserves are projected to contract overall in 2025 because domestic banks are expected to grow credit to the private sector at a stronger pace than in 2024, and the system should continue to sustain a larger net share of the Government’s borrowing needs in local currency as opposed to foreign currency.”

LMAO. Meanwhile our domestic banks are awash with massive amounts of Bahamian dollars that they are unable to profitably lend or invest for the longer term because they claim there are insufficient credit worthy borrowers or investment opportunities to do so. This fact has resulted in the build up of massive amounts of excess Bahamian dollar liquidity on the balance sheets of the domestic banks which they can only invest, for risk management reasons, in very short-term treasury bills issued by the Bahamas government to monetize (soak up) the Central Bank's ongoing printing of Bahamian dollars to finance the ever increasing national debt.

Repatriation of the humongous profits being made by the Canadian banks (rbc, cibc, bns, etc.) by way of upstream loans and dividend distributions to their ultimate parent entities in Canada is the real reason why our foreign currency reserves are about to take a severe downward turn.

Our Central Bank is also allowing too many foreign controlled businesses in our country to automatically convert and directly repatriate their profits made in the Bahamas to their home country. Ever notice how often things you pay for using your credit card issued by a card issuer domiciled in the Bahamas appear on your monthly credit card statements as U.S. dollar denominated credit card charges?

Once again, much too little, much too late. Repatriations only ever occur when the 'heat' gets turned up on our corrupt politicians.

President Trump, Secretary of State Rubio and Florida Governor DeSantis are each acutely aware that for decades now successive corrupt Bahamian governments have failed to help in any meaningful way the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. DEA fight the many thousands of illegal aliens and tons of illegal drugs flowing into the U.S. through the Bahamas, preferring instead to focus on greatly enriching our most corrupt senior politicians and their favoured cronies in the private sector.

It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out for whom in our small nation the bell doth now toll.

The BRICS are already headed the way of OPEC. So are the Two-By-Fours, i.e. Mexico, Canada, Colombia and Panama. Our time is coming ....... President Trump, Secretary of State Rubio and Florida Governor DeSantis are each acutely aware of the role our corrupt senior politicians and their favoured greedy cronies in the private sector have been playing in our small nation's cozying up with the ChiComs. Some of the fatter classified dossiers the U.S. intelligence agencies have on Bahamians bear the names of Mitchell, Christie, Bethel, Maynard-Gibson, 'Snake', Bastian, Davis, Cooper, and so on.

Can't help but wonder how much Colina must owe RBC and CIBC.

>Newly appointed Commissioner of Police Shanta Knowles has pledged to uphold high standards of conduct among officers.

Our new Commissioner does what she is told to do by the violent criminal thugs who have gained control of our RBPF and RBDF. Even Munroe and Davis now know they too must do as they are told by these violent criminal thugs within our RBPF and RBDF, or else!
