My running tally of the known murder count for 2024 totals at least 134 based on news stories published in The Tribune. And I make it a point to quickly look over the news stories published each print day of the year.

As they say, "fish rots from the head first" and corrupt PM Davis's head stinks to high heaven.

No he isn't........and our nation is in for a most rude awakening as a result of having poked the sleeping giant too many times over the last two or three decades.

LMAO. All the more reason for Trump and DeSantis to execute on their plans in the coming new year to eradicate our corrupt ruling political class that now presents an existential security threat to the U.S.A (especially Florida) on way too many fronts.

A spot on observation.

Our new police commissioner is the wrong woman at the wrong time, especially given that we have so many senior ranking men in the RBPF who are themselves corrupt and brutal criminals with very little or no respect for women in our society. It seems all Davis cared about in appointing her is that she is a women. Davis could not care less that hardened criminals are now within the senior ranks of the RBPF and that our nation is awash with violent criminals waiting to pounce on their next victim who could easily be any one of us.

So you surmise the two Discount Propane employees failed to inspect the tank, the stove, or any other appliance connected to the tank, before pumping propane gas from the delivery truck into the tank. That's certainly at least outright gross negligence by any definition given that highly explosive propane gas in the surrounding air at dangerous levels has a very distinct and noticeable odour. And you will never guess which of our parliamentarians holds a de facto ownership interest in the Discount Propane enterprise as a silent business partner. I will leave it for Tal or Birdie to name the influential parliamentarian who has amassed considerable wealth from owning 10 or 15% of many local businesses as a silent partner.

This article is poorly written and confusing as regards the nature of the domestic dispute and the circumstances surrounding the marijuana possession and assault charges. Way too many questions are therefore left open that properly trained and experienced newspaper reporters would ordinarily seek answers to in covering this type of story. The Tribune is no longer a place where a young person interested in a career in journalism should work in the hope of receiving a few years of beneficial training for a slave wage.

1) Who owns the Discount Propane business?

2) Was this business properly licensed and insured to both sell and deliver an extremely hazardous and highly explosive material?

3) Were the employees of Discount Propane involved in this incident properly trained in how to handle and refill tanks with propane gas from a delivery truck, and, if so, when and by whom?

4) Are the injured employees of Discount Propane citizens or documented residents of The Bahamas?

5) Are the injured employees registered with National Insurance?

6) Are all of Discount Propane's business license fees, property and casualty insurance premiums, and National Insurance payments, current, i.e., up to date?

7) Is the Discount Propane business connected in way to a sitting parliamentarian or other senior government official?
