You are either just plain ignorant or uncaring about all who are suffering today in our country due to unchecked rampant corruption accompanied by an extremely high rate of violent crimes.

A corrupt Vomit Christie led PLP government helped the Chinese Communist Party rip off the Izmirlian family and now an even more corrupt Stumpy Davis led PLP government is prepared to stand in the way of the Izmirlian family receiving the sum they were awarded by the U.S. courts with our dingbat FNM opposition party apparently willing to do likewise. Go figure!

And someone had better tell dumbo Sands that with the international reputation of The Bahamas being at the all time low that it is today as regards rampant corruption, crime and a soaring unsustainable national debt, there are very few if any reputable and deep pocketed investors and hotel operators who would be interested in taking on the great risks associated with owning and managing the British Colonial and Margaritaville Beach Resort properties.

LMAO.

We all know that corrupt Davis told Sweet Lips Fernander that he must take one for the team and play the role of the fall guy. Davis is hoping that his firing of Sweet Lips will help diminish the ongoing loud public cries for a full blown independent investigation into allegations that drug traffickers have smuggled tons of cocaine through The Bahamas into the United States since 2021 with the support and protection of one or more corrupt senior PLP politicians as well as certain high-ranking members of the RBPF.

And to think Tyrant Minnis as PM of the last FNM government squandered well over $200,000,000 (two-hundred million dollars) in buying the dilapidated Grand Lucayan Hotel property from the Communist Chinese and then trying to renovate it. Talk about a dumber than dumb corrupt bozo!

ExposedU2C says...

Pintard, like Minnis before him, has become nothing but a bag of hot air which is why both Davis and Cooper are able to get away with their non-stop involvement in corrupt and scandalous activities of just about every kind for their own self-gain.

> Those guys are trying so hard working on the clock. One generator breaks down, two broke down. And I see them working so feverishly trying but man, it’s not their fault. I got to see it for what it actually is this go around. The government has failed us with water and electricity over the 50 years and now we’re paying for it.

Ms Catalyn thinks "we're now paying for it", but wait until she has to start paying the outrageously exorbitant electricity rates that the insatiably greedy likes of Snake, Eric Pike, Anthony Ferguson and Stumpy PM Davis have in store for all of our nation's electricity consumers.

> ACP Knowles declined to delve into specifics about her plans. She told reporters her leadership would build on the foundations laid by outgoing Commissioner Clayton Fernander, saying: “We have a lot of work to do. We certainly will follow up what Mr Fernander has started with our organisation.”

No independent investigative report into this matter will ever be undertaken and allowed to see the light of day by this most corrupt PLP government led by Davis. Stumpy Davis is hoping most of the D- educated among us will be content with Sweet Lips Fernander being made the "fall guy" with his lucrative pension, health and other benefits all fully intact for him to enjoy in his retirement years at great expense to us taxpayers.

Bahamasair should be likened to a national utility enterprise, much like bpl, btc, w&s, pmh, our seaports and airports, etc. All such national utility enterprises should be Bahamas government owned and operated on a non-profit basis as they are fully intended to serve the vital needs of the Bahamian people and the national security interests of our nation. But the incompetent leadership of successive corrupt governments over the past three or four decades have allowed wealthy private sector vultures to woo government officials with privatization schemes to transform these vital national utility enterprises into profit-making entities for mere pennies on the dollar of their true value.

And the transformation costs from non-profit to profit get socialized for Bahamian taxpayers and consumers to bear while the lion's share of the profits end up in the pockets of the greedy vultures. All of our national utility enterprises should be owned by government with the operation of each such enterprise farmed out to competent independent operators (selected on a transparent contract bidding basis) to be managed on a non-profit basis for a management fee based in large part on the ability to control costs and provide the reliable services intended for the Bahamian people. The term of such management contracts should never exceed 10 years with the Bahamian people having a means by which they can weigh in on whether the contract should be renewed or put out to bid.
