My oh my. The little airhead twerp who owes her station in life to corrupt PM Davis is now upset that she allowed a video to be made of her showcasing with much glee a few of the many very expensive Christmas gifts she received from the likes of Snake's family in return for unsavory favours extended by her through her political office. Can't help but wonder what she received for Christmas from scum bag Sebas Bastian, crooked Tony Ferguson and so many others like them. Talk about being a little piece of ........ !
You've been drinking the wrong kool-aid when it comes to Tyrant Minnis. The little good he has done for political gain among his Killarney constituents is far out weighed by all of the bad he has done to so many in our country, especially in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Dorian and during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tyrant Minnis has more blood on his hands than any other person in the entire history of The Bahamas.
Then there's that other matter where he literally squandered over $200 million in buying the dilapidated Grand Lucayan Hotel from the ChiComs and then tried to renovate it with corrupt deal after corrupt deal with his crony contractors and vendors. Make no mistake about it - Tyrant Minnis is a wickedly evil and nasty menace to all of mankind.
> Gowon Bowe, Fidelity Bank (Bahamas) chief executive, told the Rotary Club of West Nassau that there is no shortage of available cash funding for infrastructure development and other projects but Bahamians are failing to exploit this because they are too risk averse.
>“We do have... significant excess liquidity in the system as it stands, over $3.1bn, and that’s something that we need to ask ourselves: Why? Why a person is holding it. The reality is, persons are now risk averse to the point where they’re happy to have money sitting on deposit in the banks than they are having it circulated in the economy, and that’s the question the Government has to address,” said Mr Bowe.
This twit speaks out of both sides of his mouth. When it suits him he complains that his bank's very distorted balance sheet is attributable to Bahamians being too risk averse. Then to another audience he complains that his bank cannot find enough creditworthy long-term borrowers and long-term investments to help soak up the massive amounts of liquidity sitting on both sides of his bank's distorted balance sheet. Yup, this is one banker who lends new meaning to plenty of hot air double-speak.
The better the cruise ship industry does in our country, the worse off Bahamians become. All Bahamians must start seriously asking why is this the case. How is it that only a few very corrupt senior politicians and their favoured participants in crony capitalism continue to get filthy rich from having sold all the best our country has to offer to the corrupt cruise line companies like Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Disney, etc. and to the equally corrupt owners/operators of our nation's major ports.
Trump will be fixing all of this for his good golfing buddy Sarkis. Membership in The Mar-a-Lago Club comes with privileges that most can only dream of these days. Comeuppance for Vomit, the greedy Wicked Witch, the Bag Man, and a few others like them, is not too far off now.
