I'm shock at Mr. Bowe's sentiments on the need for accountants to disclose what may appear to be fraudulent activities....isn't that one of our mandates as ethical professionals to attest to the fairness and impartial disclosure of information by entities to their relevant shareholders and governmental authorities? Are you now suggesting that is not a part of our job? Just curious......
Do we really need another church building? There are literally churches side by side on every corner.....with seats still empty. To each his own I guess. But back to the main point....JFK location was my personal favorite. however, any business savy person cannot ignore the obvious signs when there market is under threat so all the best to Galleria! Advice to its management team: create a think bok and recreate the experience. I love the idea about the lounge chairs.....maybe even invest in IT where food can be ordered from the comfort of their viewing seats
If I had the cash, I would buy a fixer-upper in Freeport....too bad I'm still a college student. Hopefully the deals are still around when I am able to! I agree with this statement “That’s what we need. We need everybody in Freeport; every business, every owner, every citizen and resident, to do their part." Freeport can be a beautiful place if persons were willing or able to maintain their buildings. I visited a few weeks ago and from the airport to my final destination were just dilapidated buildings.
This is very good advice and I will be following this story as I am a soon to be Accounting grad who is appalled at the rate of irresponsible government spending. I will soon be starting my very own fraud blog to help crack down on local fraud and provide secondary evidence material for further research by students and professionals alike.
