Probably the dumbest shit that I have read on this website, and that speaks volumes. Why does Switzerland not have a gun crime issue? Vermont, despite being a Democrat stronghold in Presidential elections for the past several decades, is a strong 2A state that has extremely high levels of gun ownership with near non existent levels of gun crime. Why don't they have issues? Stringent firearms laws has not stopped Frenchmen or Brits from having their heads cut off if you want to look across the pond.

For the record, you just do not walk into Walmart and buy a gun to use in committing a crime. As a matter of fact, depending on the state, there are background checks and waiting periods that one must go through when purchasing a firearm, so you aren't going to walk out with it on the same day. As usual, Bahamians love to talk shit and sound educated when they know nothing of what they speak of.

Every firearm has a serial number (except for jerry-rigged Kyhber copies), why don't we hear more from CID on where they are coming from? Even if it scraped off, forensics can determine what the number once was. Most of the guns on our streets don't even get smuggled from the US, they come directly from Haiti along with dope, illegals, and God knows whatever else. As usual, Bahamians have to blame someone else instead of teaching their children to evolve past homo erectus.

On We must stop import of firearms

> Tell me folks, do you feel more comfortable being in America with the fun toting idiots, or in Canada ?

Take a walk in Brampton or the "diverse" parts of the GTA and tell me how bloody safe you feel. Crime ridden shitholes on par with most of the Caribbean. Amazing how places like Switzerland or Vermont don't seem to have any issues with crime and gun ownership, but don't let that stop you from pushing the disarmament agenda.

The 2A existed for the protection of America as a newly founded nation. Thanks to the Monroe Doctrine, America hasn't had to face any direct threats on their borders since the days of Santa Anna, so the immediate importance of that amendment has been lost in the eyes of the average person, but it isn't any less valid. As the Japanese realized during the 40s, there would be a rifle behind every blade of grass if America were ever invaded....or at least there would be at one point in time.

You don't buy that but tribanon is actually correct. The law was not gendered prior to the 20th century and references to "his" was readily understood as referring to both male and female.

Sadly, things will never change.

What happened to this guy is wrong, but he was not making 100k a year. He needs to take his money and be thankful for what he has.

> Now, the government tells me to pay more taxes , so they can help these kids.

Correction : you mean so that they can sign a couple more overpriced contracts to their boys for kickbacks and feed their own kids. The kind of assistance that social services gives out (if you can even get it) isn't anywhere near enough to help these children out in any impactful way.

This FNM administration has probably been the biggest disappointment recorded in recent memory. No one ever expected them to work miracles, God knows that the grave was half dug before they even came into office, but they have run around like chickens with their heads cut off for 4 years with nothing to show for it.

I remember former PM Ingraham warning them at the start of their term not to get cocky because they had such a large caucus....they really should have listened as they are now staring down the barrel of an electoral wipeout. I would not be surprised if the PLP pulls 35 seats of their own when the bell is rung. At the very least, they will demolish the FNM into single digits.

It always amazes me how these people all of a sudden know how to have hard mouth the minute that their political career starts fading into the sunset. Where was all of this criticism when they were in the Cabinet?

Voting is a complete waste of time.

Another great "catholic" produced in the "spirit of the Council" lol. Go open your Cathechism and let me know what it says regarding our beliefs on homoesexuality, if you are as "catholic" as you suggest.
