It doesn't matter who misuse the public funds, corruption must be addressed with character, very quick!. This is the land of so many banks!,more than four hundreds banks, mostly in N.P. . A lot of auditors, accountants, controllers, that means, this land knows the ABC of auditing , it is easy to know who stoled, "The People's Money",put them behind bars and get the money back!!. Why this current administration took a quick U-turn in tackling corruption?, Public and private?. We have folmers Prime Ministers also Ministers of Finance who didn't explain to the Bahamian society, the whereabouts of few thousands of millions of dollars yet. Why the National Production is not expanded? One never can harvest without planting. The percentage of agricultural land is not even six percent (6%),where it could be more than 80% (eighty percent). Again ,you can't harvest what you don't plant. Why nontributary production is increased? We have too many unanswer questions. Zero answers!!.
Well done by the Minister of Education Mr.Jeff Lloyd.! What an example of a cabinet member! Unlike the DPM who seems to be hiding something. It is also well done by the current opposition leader Mr. Braves Davis who seems to be making opposition only by impulse but he lacks moral integrity to talk about corruption, actually he should be behind bars and I mean in prison and not in bars or restaurant, drinking and eating with the money he misused from the Bahamian people. It is recorded in the local media that while he was Minister of works and also DPM, he added more to the National External Debt by borrowing the majestic amound of Twenty Six Millions dollars to make a little correction to the Road Project Program, and the only thing he did,was to brake the little middle division line from "Little General Convenience store" to "Robinson Road" then he borrowed another similar amound of money,to take off little portion of already paved Blue Hill Rd, and putting those patches back, the ones close to C.R. Walker School, more than Forty Five Millions Dollars!!. For that little correction!!!. He needs to explain to the people!. Now is said to be "People's Time" ,acknowledging it is also,People's money.!
To tackle crime implies to changing the way we live, forming integral law enforcement officers and not allowing them to own liquior stores but to oversee or supervise those liquior stores regarding open schedule and client's unlawful behavior. We need an independent organization also to oversee law enforcement officers by only taking notes everywhere crime scenarios take place in order to systematically improve their procedures and performance.
We need more Police officers on the streets of N.P. They need to patrol on foot,on vehicles, waring uniforms, plain clothes. We need their presence on the streets, visible and invisible but in great numbers with new, effective approach to crime, always with dignity & respect, immediately. The government must reconcile their commitment regarding the quick U-turn they took in facing corruption or misuse of the public funds as a way to decrease crimes. They must tackle the cause agressibly simultaneously with the symptoms. This is too long stationary wrong doing. We need people who want to be on the right side of history ,with courage and determination to stop the wrongdoing and exercise moral values in order to give expression to a more descent Bahamian society, crime free!.
Oh!,yes. This type of incidents are actually, really disgusted but also the lack of commitment with decency, dignity & respect from formel and current administration which took a quick U-turn in tackling corruption and establish higher levels of transparency in handling the Public Pulse as well as complying with the Public Information Act, Public Disclosure Act and also invalidation of such compromise "cabinet pledge" where a cabinet member are not allowed to expose the wrongdoing by another colleagues cabinet member.

So many Police officers only after the guy was killed!!. That's why I put a handle behind : Post-mortem RBPF. This is serious..,today, somebody got killed probably before the Sun came up,tomorrow, might be you or me. That's how serious it is.! How they can't tackle crime from the stand of prevention? Why were they not there before the lifeless body was produced? Does it got to be only after? This is wrong and it feels like walking on your own brain They must patrol in a better proportional quantity to civilian, also on foot like we do,walking on the streets like anybody else!. We need the police presence in the street and the government ought to comply with us on that regard with no more delay or quick!. People dying out there unnecessary . This is outrageous. This is people's life, "People's Time" and People's Money too. A high percentage of murders in The Bahamas, the post-mortem RBPF has previous inf.before the murder actually happened but they failed to act. Why? Because it was just considered ,at that time, "A Minor Complaint". We must pick the poop now before we need a bulldozer to do it later. Life is leaking like water between your hands. Again this is unsustainable and unacceptable. It must be fixed or newly elected ones must quick !.
The ATF course is very good, the police uniform is nice and looks Royal but officers wearing it are not Royal with so many of them with "Big Belly" also the police patrol car, very nice with a lot of colorful lights,it keeps Christmas alive if you are lucky to see them on N.P.'s road, those cars have very good equipments like speaker & strong flashlight, radio communication system as well as lap top also nice air conditioner and pleasant to human eyes car's color. The last time I checked, saw like Sixty, brand new police patrol cars, still unmarked behind the police H/Q and almost a year later, they were still there!.,they are probably still there NOW!! for about a year an a half. All those things above are nice!. I wonder why they don't want to leave their "Area of Comfort" eventhough having taken the client or complainan's name,D.O.B.,address and color of the house, clearly.!! They expect you : the community member, who they work for, to come out of your house, sometimes in the middle of the night,so dangerous,to come to them instead of they coming you and knock on your door responsibly. what is wrong is their approach to crime, always failing to address minor complaints reported to them by law-abiding citizens and practically or technically "Running Away From Crime Scenarios" and on top of that, some Police Stations look like hotel with illumination to the minimum, one police officer behind the counter, sleeping with his belly full, one can smell the conch!! He just broke a crack-chonch!., they, very often, insistently impose their, unsolicited "Personal Criteria on top of the Law as well" Again, that is not sustainable and is not acceptable. People are differents. What is equal ?.: The law is equal to everyone. And they must comply with their commitment : Dignity & Respect. Cordially...
They should also invigorate the police presence in the neighbourhood including the ghetto which has been neglected badly for so long,it is almost like the family Islands where you may see maybe one police officer only at the airport if you are lucky. This NP is shining by the lack & slackness of the post-mortem RBPF which very nearing never is in the crime-scenarios before the lifeless human body is laid down on the pavement of N.P.'s road, bushes, abandoned house, open yards and practically any vulnerable public space where not too far from a liquior store usually own precisely by a police officer without any commitment whatsoever with dignity & respect disregarding open bad behavior of their disenfranchise -exc!uded very young and unscrupulous old or mature men illegally drinking, cursin, exercising indescent exposure by pulling their private part out in front of somebody's fence in occasions with children playing in that particular yard even also in nearing public park where they also defecate with the complaisance of the police including the one who own the liquor store with no bathroom. This is a !ong time bad, unlawful, illegal practice that is unsustainable & unacceptable and it is prohibited by current, enacted, legal laws that the Government through the post-mortem RBPF refuse to reinforce forgetting their pledge and commitment with decency ,dignity & respect.
Too much news about Haitian, also too much financial resources absorbed by them from the national budget through institutions like PMH,NIB and logistic regarding RBDF,Immigration,RBPF,Ministry of Education and Policy makers dealing with them without an effective contingency plan or even the right approach to decrease or more importantly to prevent so many undesirable negative effects of such elegal landing. Also the gov. should use all skillful boat builders in the family Islands and supply them with salary, material & equipment necessary to build boat to beef up such programs to also Supply back a local government fish market to sell fish to the Bahamian population cheaper than chicken. I could advise the Bahamian Government regarding many other, serious measurements to tackle criminality but also need to be paid as a consultant. Thanks.
