Please don't let this pass. The government must be completly crazy. What is democratic about what they propose to do!? It comunism plain and simple. How can you jail or fine someone from firing someone from THEIR business.....Yes they should warn the government but that doesn't mean you should create a law that goes against democracy just so your own image isn't tainted by things like this. I would provide mordern technologies to make the voting and counting process more easy and quick. The palimentary commission would also be made independent and the palimentary commission office would be upgraded. There would be a tighter hold on the results so it absolutely would not be leaked to social media. I would also invite international organizations to come and over see the 2017 general election, which will be an historic event.
Yes we here in the Bahamas do need LGBT rights! Its absolutely wrong to discriminate against them. Being gay or lesbian is NOT a choice. Being bisexual is NOT a choice but they do choose which gender they date. Being bisexual and being gay is not the same. Thousands of GLBT teens suffer daily here in the Bahamas. I do wish our country was more educated. We are smart but ignorant at times. We as a nation should educate our selves before hating something we do not even understand.
