This is a huge concern to me, however, the social establishment continues to slight and reject persons, as myself, who really wants to help.
After my release from prison I did what I thought was something acceptable and significant - studied law and graduated with honors and awarded most outstanding student - only to be rejected three times by the Bahamas Bar Council.
This talk of the need for concern is easy to dribble from anyone's mouth. But no one is really concerned or cares seriously. The political class gets to retain their sense of 'one-up-manship' by killing or creating a murderous environment for our youths.
No, it is not fake news. It was my life and I (AKA Nicodemus Johnson) was beaten while on remand. Mr. Murphy was handed a cut piece of rubber hose but declined. This was very real. I have overcome it but now it is you and your children time.
When I was ganged and beaten in prison by prison officers, Commissioner Charles Murphy stood right there, as the officer in charge and did nothing. Bahamas, he is not sincere in what he says. Like I said, it was me yesterday, today it is you
is having **'a police presence'** really the solution to our country's moral decline?
if so, that's a very costly solution.
facts are, living civilized in the bahamas is no longer recognized or rewarded. only political associations of the party in power and certain family names gets to be rewarded in the bahamas for hard work or are recognized for distinguish deeds.
hence, lawlessness, to some, seems to be the better option to obtain a name or reward. sad, but true!

Bahamas, please let's organize ourselves and not leave our faith in the hands of this inept and incompetent government.

This is so comical. Doesn't anyone in the government realize that such policy and law is flat out unconstitutional?
you cannot compel someone to sell something that they have chosen to give away freely. It is not a firearm or illegal narcotics.
I can freely sell something of value or, if I chose, I can give it away!
