For there to be a general sense of belonging and unity among the citizens of The Bahamas. Howbeit, this may call for a political and social revolution.

Secondly, for there to be a general but truthful understanding, and declaration, as to whether or not we are indeed a "nation". What regional, global or domestic definition truly defines our collective identity?

Whatever the nearest and most precise definition of collective identity that is, be truthful to the people of The Bahamas about what that is.

"Arrogance"?... On the very first day of the Minnis administration, arrogance exuded from 98% of the elected FNM member of Parliament. I knew right then that they were going to be catastrophic for The Bahamas. But I note, that only today, someone in the person of Pintard, notices "arrogance" merely "growing". With the FNM, it was in full bloom from day one.

I would say so!

Well before the guns were brought into Our Country, they became a reality in our minds. We are placing too much emphasis on fighting the battle on the wrong, or, secondary front. As such, we are bound always to stay fighting and keep losing.

This, in and of itself, indicates that the core venture of this enterprise will fail. It is only in the game for the short run. Otherwise, they would be disciplined and focusing on their primary product: cryptocurrency.

Dear Bahamas, and all readers of this article,

Sincerely, am I to understand now that, once a social ailment, or, issue as such, is addressed or takes the form of a bill to enact legislation, this in effect creates a panacea and we can then go on happily with our lives?

Godson says...

At least, it gives the illusion of satisfaction. Which is way more than what these suckers of our public treasury provide.

Godson says...

police Commissioner Paul Rolle said yesterday it appears that getting bail for murder “is almost certain death” adding that there are people in the country who are willing to use lethal force to settle their disputes".

Commissioner Rolle, you ought to be commended rather than criticize for being so frank and honest about the actual dilemma of our youths and young offenders. However, like I have said to you before and have been saying ever since I came back from law school in 2007, there is no light in the tunnel of our justice system. There is no resolution in our court system. The administrators of justice are either too inept, incompetent and/or, simply corrupt. But because this point of view is coming from an ex-convict, it goes unheeded.

I was thrust out as an outcast when I applied to be called to The Bahamas Bar. The haters killed hope by rejecting me. Now look at what we got!!! Those who were approved, are you satisfied with their performance? Apathy is just as bad or worst.
