Your embrace of the redeemed is good; however, that is not the case with our society. Instead of embracing a life that has turned around, our society insists on continuous ostracism. There are those that fear that such a soul as such might go on and become better and serve greater social utility than what they have become; in other words, "he is down, let him stay down". I know this personally for myself. Been to prison, went off to school, obtained a law degree, graduated Most Outstanding student from law school... and yet rejected by ALL!
***When asked if the victim was known to police, the press liaison officer replied: “The victim in this instance has constitutional rights that would be guarded by this office.”***
The members of the Police Force seem to be making a mockery of these sad situations. With reference to the recent Ridgeland Park killing just the other day, the police noted Stephen 'Die' Stubbs as the victim's uncle, his grandmother, his cousins, and his mother so as to characterize an abstract of the victim's family. We are in a sad state depending on the police for fairness and protection let alone intelligence.

It is not a good idea to practice our citizens to be beggars and 'hand-me-down' receivers so that a handful of people can feel that they are involved with a noble and charitable cause. it is not good at all!
Rather, find the creativity that will get them back to work so as to earn their keeps and take responsibility for their own survival. Having and encouraging 20,000 families to be dependent on hand-outs is not noble. Create industries and get them back to work.
After all that was said by John, if we wish to see police activation and solving conclusively of an issue, let there be one miss-payment, or, a non-payment of their monthly salary...
**We killed Officer Perpall... Yes, we are the murderers. 'We' includes the police officers and the court system in The Bahamas that refused to allow the light of fairness and justice to shine in this dark tunnel of bigotry and hatred.** Whenever one goes into the police station they are slighted because the police officer takes a slighted opinion of them.
Without a doubt, the men and women who work in our systems of justice are the largest contributors to the lawlessness we are experiencing in The Bahamas. They plant the seeds of discord and discontent so that they can all parade around the crime scene in their brown kacky clothes.
Hence, young Bahamian men and women, as well as, elderly Bahamians, see no redress for their pain and confusion and take justice into their own hands.
The double standards owing to nepotism and cronyism have gone far above the watermark, and, for far too long. And those who are in authority, are at most ostrich with their heads in some hole only deserving to be called a brown noser.
When people see that they cannot trust the systems of justice for redress to their wrong... murder she wrote.
