I am glad, that this topic is high up on the agenda of the Government and all resources are being deployed to make this new proposed law a success. it is important and of national importance, as it helps increasing the GDP and helps reducing the tax burden on the middle class Bahamian. And of course it will increase flight safety throughout the Bahamas, particularly since the planes with poorly serviced engines and fake spare parts have a hard time to maneuver around the drones.
I heard that if you can not pay the tax, you can convert your status from Free Bahamian to the status of an Indentured servant. you will be freed from any taxes immediately, you will be fed, housed and dressed at no charge. Government may assign you to work in the Chinese quarries, or if properly educated as a butler/servant in one of the Bahamian political elite's finest households.
well so much for insiders: under his capable lead, more than 50% of HIV positive Bahamians have not received their allocated proper medication. Medication that has been paid for by the Clinton Foundation. Antibiotics got stolen somewhere between the Airport and Delivery (and probably sold), the weakest of the weak have been taken advantage of.
yes, correct, these guys pay for nothing until they are told to. forced to. We always think if a Chinese or Canadian investor comes to the island it is like manna falling from heaving. No one has properly negotiated with this big conglomerates out of fear that they would not drop their pennies on our islands. The problem is the corruption and lack of vision on the political stage. No decision is made with the well being of future generations of Bahamians is ever made in Parliament House, Governors House or any where else, where the important people are.
Baha mar should have been asked to set up and pay for a train from airport to cable beach and Atlants for the extention from cable beach to down town. All cab drivers and jitney drivers would have gotten an option to accept a job in project. But what can you expect from Governments that are excellent in displaying their inability to develop any kind of vision for this beautiful country.
