under no circumstances the language in the constitutional bill must allow the legalization of the Bahamian woman's children and I suggest that we introduce the capital punishment for a lesbian women that were men before. IMHO. Yours Mr. Yesterday.
Dear Dr. Nottage, ok, here is another piece that can help you to further delay this: "How to treat a Bahamian man, married to a non-Bahamian mother (lets say Haitian to make it perfectly clear), they have children. The non-Bahamian mother is pregnant with their 9th child, when the Man, Bahamian, decides to have a sex-change and becomes a women and a lesbian." So, assuming the marriage is now invalid, and the non-Bahamian mother eventually becomes illegal, what is the status of the children?
#We need everyone to gather behind all the objectives we have in regard to immigration policy. It will require discipline by all Bahamians.# This means we have to do the dirty jobs ourselves and resist the temptation to hire illegals to do the crap work. Anybody volunteering? Work? Dirty Hands? Almost no pay?
Unfortunately, the way the Bahamian economy is set up and the way we act, we can not afford NOT to let these people into the country.
I wonder what is more expensive government: (I) fixing the lights, (ii) paying police officer to sort out the traffic during rush hours until the Government wins the Powerball Jackpot, or (ii) paying claims and legal fees for being sued over this. Maybe SLS Hotels can pitch in with money rather than paying for useless Government trips to Vegas? Or one of the "Bread-for-Government-Brethren" Trusts set up by the Oil Drillers, Number Houses, Stolen Car Smugglers?
Of course, one or several police officers must have beaten the shit out of this man. Why no one is put on administrative leave, handing over the guns and the badges until this investigation is clarified - which is normal practice probably in all places even in The Republic of Congo, is beyond comprehension. it is to protect the officers as well.
Here is the thing, people and Police officers make mistakes, sometimes with deadly consequences. The crime is not necessarily what happened, as we don't know what the circumstances were under which the death occurred. The crime is if the Police and the Government and the Judiciary are trying to cover it up.
The Government is accountable to the People that is what differentiates a Democracy from anything else.

I am somewhat surprised they didn't pick the PM or DPM for that. I think they are better qualified for the job.
