Cronies vs. Cronies. I like it. Fight of the Titans: "Grand Bahama Godzillas vs. New Providence King Kongs".

So we "create" jobs in the webshops, manufacturing booze and cigarettes, nowhere else. I wonder who will be able to buy that stuff, the potential consumers will be either dead, drunk, or broke.

GrassRoot says...

Booze is too cheap in the Bahamas. Quadruple the taxes!

Dear Politician,
"Orphans? We don't need orphans, who let them into the country?" - The reality is that the money needed for these crucial institutions as been absorbed by the system. Lets just take the 8 Mio USD increase in price for the RBDF boats, that would talk care of these orphans as part of our country's future for a while. Trying to build a new parliament house and not being able to provide for electricity for schools and take care of the poorest of the poor - Priorities are wrong. How can you look in the mirror in the morning and sleep at night?

I bet residents can gamble in the webshops.

"Mr Christie also called for the relocation of shore-side graveyards for the protection of loved ones’ bodies at risk during hurricanes."

I think his is important and needs to be dealt with, more importantly is that our future, our children have electricity, good teachers and school books so they can read and think and invent and make a lo of money so can pay off the mess our generation is leaving them.

Words are cheap. And the PM's words cheaper.

I think someone should tell the Queen, that the Sir Lynden Pindling Foundation took a high end car as a donation from the webshops. So that would make the future Governor General Dame Pindling complicit with the money launderers. How can this work and where is the money laundering oversight?. Banana Republic. And who is driving the BMW?

It was corruption back then, it is corruption today. What part of that can we not understand in the Bahamas? Where is the AG and her foot soldiers?

The risk of tourists bringing yellow fever, malaria etc. to the Bahamas is probably bigger than from legal or illegal immigrants. I wonder whether all Bahamians vacationing in Panama get immunized against yellow fever before they travel - just to make one example.
