ha if Mitchell really wants to become PM, he should start turning against his PLP now and play Mr. Clean (to be frank, he may be the only one that may be clean from the current cabinet).
Emac frankly, I think nothing is wrong with the Bahamas. It is just daily business continued ever since. The elections are one year out and obviously can be bought, there is no moral or legal authority that can stop this. The parliament is rigged, the GG is corrupted, the AG is a political puppet, the opposition has the influence of a mouse and its leaders not credible. So who is out there that can raise his or her voice and be respected by all involved? I don't know, the only person that comes close to someone like that may be the Commissioner of the Police. But even there I am not sure. Any thoughts?
Speaking in words of the "John-Birdie" faction: "I don't think this is Nygard in the car, its just a person looking like and talking like Nygard". I think all this is a conspiracy by Bacon and Fred Smith to discredit the PLP and its honorable members".
you can never protect a professional criminal from his actions. He will always go back to do criminal acts, because that is his job. Beyond that, murder allegations have to be investigated by the police and eventually the AG's office. It is obvious that in the United Banana Republic of the Bahamas, the only way to get something to a court without bribing police and AG and politicians is to bring a civil law suit. If all the evidence brought and allegations made do not wake up the prosecution and police finally, we may as well abandon these islands and hand them over to the Chinese for One Dollar.

another just impossibly stupid remark by a politician. The law is above politics. you cant "expunge" a conviction unless you change the law.
