1. Our Government had no clue this was coming, because they are busy counting the money in their coffers.
2. This is now a good time to put down the foot (Mr. Gibson, yes, why not you) to make a case that Bahamian resources are to be used first. Require RWB to hire Bahamian pilots (a good moment to offload some of the factually redundant pilots at Bahamasair) for the shuttles.
3. It just shows that RWB is making so much money that the can even change their strategies and write off the ferry boats from today to tomorrow. Where is the trickle down effect?
4. I wonder how many non-Bahamians are hired in the Bimini Resorts/Hotels of RWB, how about shipping out some of the Baha Mar trained staff?

is that really the choice we are given? PGC or Minnis? really?

"He also urged the vendors to embrace the power of love", yep al that's left as DPM and his gang already took all the "love for power". The DPM should now also talk to the cab drivers, the store owners on bay street, the fishing operators, etc.

well you steal hair wigs from your employer;s store you go to jail. you steal from your foreign client, nothing happens. actually you can do it again and seemingly nothing happens. misappropriating funds is nothing else short of stealing too.

these men and women in uniform believe they can do whatever they want, bcz they see that their bosses do whatever they want. very simple. this will change only with a new set of leaders across the board.

VAT is not the issue, the issue is what the Government does or doesn't do with the proceeds. From my perspective no to negative Value Added on the spending side.

agree, I would feel more comfortable if the Government were to take on and nationalize other business where they can do less damage, like the bottling business or manufacturing mattresses for the Bahamian market.

right. no Horse in the BahamaCare race? I'd say that is his only and last floating device that may keep him politically afloat, after he tossed Baha Mar into the Ocean.

whats wrong with you? NHI is not even a consideration for now. or have you walked into PMH to receive services covered under NHI by now? This is all a BS discussion. Dont buy private insurance if you don't like or drop it if you have it and believe NHI will pay your doctor in the U.S., Grand Bahama or Abaco, if something happens or you get sick.
