I think D'Aguilar needs to be expropriated as well, subject himself to a psych test, genetic test to determine whether Fred Extraordinaire can pull his passport and citizenship and send him to Ougadougou or Timbuktu.

I like the Gov's approach, bcz, now they have just interjected themselves into the possibility of being sued themselves by Baha Mar, as it was made clear that the Gov has no intentions to pay the IOU's ever back to Baha Mar. How about if those new airplanes of Bahamas Air get sequestered in Florida next time they touch ground?

Every time PLP is in charge, the Bahamas suffers through another Babylon. Once the dust settles in the pile of rubbles, the opposition has to come in and clean up. Last thing Melia needs is a location in the Bahamas.

well what is happening right now Tal, is that this fight that is fueled over and over by the government is "sucking millions of weekly dollars of taxpayers monies". So why not reverse course, get this Baha Mar sucker up and running? would be happy days for everybody (but for the lawyers I guess).

Tal give up. let it go. This Government is a communist dictatorship. If they can take Izzies asset they can take any asset. Focussing on Izzie does not help you NOT to judge this government. You are just simply ignorant of all the wrongs this government does?

I am glad that Fred Extraordinaire informed the UN Security Council - it was about time.

Banker agree, just want to add, that even archaic laws work well with honorable players. There are not many honorable players in the legal field in the Bahamas, so I concur, the applicability of an outdated book of laws in our thoroughly corrupt and politicized judiciary allows a clear prediction of the outcome (see also what happened to John Travolta).

the headliner should be "CCA forced Chinese worker to work under slave like conditions!" Bahamas is Qatar, my friends.

so how does the proposal work with Bowe being presented as a liquidator? Really?

yes the answer to many things here is "Yes bcz we can." They screwed up the financial services sector with the numbers boyz, they r fking up the tourism with Bahamar, the FDI, our country rating with reckless spending (yes if you spend more than you make you widen the gap!!) and are also screwing with one of the last assets of the Bahamas, wealthy people taking up residency and dropping quite a few bucks on the island. Speaking of which, why has BREA no voice in this? all waiting to see how the dice fall, ey?
