So it seems that PET technology has been around for a while. Found a weblink on FDA Approval in 2012 for an agent (not the technology itself), so technology must have been approved before. Well what can we expect, this is 21st century technology reviewed with a 20th century state of mind our Government has. So looking at that technical norms office the Bahamas wants to set up (and has rented the premises for already..), who in the world should that ever work?
This Government is make a bad situation worse. Ever heard of Time Value of Money. get this done, issue the licenses and cash in the money and move on.
Here for the Government: definition of 'Time Value of Money - TVM'
The idea that money available at the present time is worth more than the same amount in the future due to its potential earning capacity. This core principle of finance holds that, provided money can earn interest, any amount of money is worth more the sooner it is received.
there MAY not ever be an election again in this country, the way the things are going with the governing Party. Who needs election anyway. Just costs money that can be used for other good and worthy causes.
I would think that 100% of the workers would disagree with 210 per week. I would think 100% of the workers would disagree with 350 per week, I would think 100% of the workers would disagree with 1000 a week- and maybe they should. the point more is what does an employer get in exchange?
well, don't you think that the Chinese offered little to the average Bahamian for getting the Bahamian UN votes, making our kids pay off the interest rates on all the borrowed and blown away money?
"Pm: Baha Mar Impasse May Mean Staff Can’T Be Paid" !!!? - my potcake has figured this out 5 years ago. How about seizing the Chinese Embassy and using it as the new House of Parliament until the situation is resolved?
lol. good one. the employee for sure has broken about 10 different U.S. laws plus some Bahamian laws by bringing the check from the US to the Bahamas. The bank accepted the check and deposited the check and no one asked how the check made it from the US to the Bahamas? Sounds to me that more than just the banker/courier should be fired. Reality is: Banks do anything for money. KYC/AML is paper. The real formula is "Risk vs. Reward" - and if the sh#t hits the fan, blame the employee.
