Realtors aren't selling the properties - the owners of the property are.
The realtor is merely acting as an agent for a commission (an agent working for a realty company will earn around 3% of the sale price).
So that 100,000 dollar property brings the 3,000 in revenue.
Most realtors are lucky to sell 20 properties a year (very lucky - most barely hit 10 when the economy is booming)
For the sake of argument, let's put all those 20 properties at 100,000 sale price - the realtor is at 60,000 in earnings. Not even close to the VAT threshold.
Having spoken repeatedly to Mr Rolle in attempts to clarify serious discrepancies in the way persons in my own line of business are unfairly treated by VAT, I can happily confirm that t he only tool in Mr Rolle's arsenal is Mr Rolle himself.
After all, my discussions with this the man, and the asinine answers he provided, lead me to believe without a shadow of a doubt, that he is an enormous tool.

I mean seriously - you thought the realtor gets ALL the money from selling a house, and the owner who sold it gets nothing?
Is it any wonder this country is headed down the tubes if the level of basic knowledge is this low!

Not entirely sure where you're getting that info from.
