Luckily, the Minister of Environment's incompetence in protecting our environment will mean the endless stream of unregulated, unlicensed developers such as those currently about to destroy Bimini will ensure our coral reefs are loooong gone before we need to worry about global warming taking them.
Tal, you are a pathetic apologist, not better than this administration, and the one previous.
You will always blame someone else, always scrabble for some reason it's not your fault.
Guess what - no one cares who's fault it is, all they care about is that the people we **currently** have voted in power show **some** sign they intend to at least **try* and help things.
This party is a disgrace. the last party is was a disgrace, but the current one takes this to a whole new level of corruption, lies and deceit.
They have absolutely no interest in the people of the Bahamas.
They have no interest in the betterment of The Bahamas
No interest in honour.
No interest in morals.
No interests in scruples.
No interest in anything other than lining their pockets and blaming someone else.
Very similar to yourself.
You deserve the same respect due to the very party you are whoreishly dedicated to defending.
I hope they pay you well, and and also hope your children will one day look at you with the disgust and contempt you oh so justly deserve.
> “We cannot hide the truth,” said Davis on April 26, 2012 when asked about backlash over the murder billboards.
> “Are we about hiding the truth? Are we going to be concerned about the impression that the truth gives? The only way we can get rid of these things is to address the issue. The fact is that there were more than 490 murders in this country (since 2007). We cannot run away from that.”
The Deputy Prime Minister is a hypocritical douchebag of the highest order. His own party erected billboards islandwide to 'flame the fires of discontent', and he defended his party's disgraceful actions with vigor.
Mr Andrawos - the only message this sends is that the Bahamas is tired of its corrupt, government and continual abuse of the system.
You thought buying a a bunch of officials would make you rich? Think again - the people have realized this government is worthless, and is taking the power back.
Kudos to all involved in exposing the sham that is the this development. Shame on the so called 'government' of the Bahamas who care nothing for their country as long as their pockets are filled with gold.
Sorry, Freddie, but when your own citizens feel they need to seek asylum in another country to remain safe, and the foreign country believes they need to give asylum to keep that person safe it's a pretty damning condemnation of your country's human rights record. Nations don't offer asylum unless there is real risk.
And let's face it - this isn't the first time the human rights record of The Bahamas has been brought into question. Instead of trying to brush it under the carpet, how 'bout you get off your ass and do something about it.
Meanwhile, Ishmael Lightbourne languishes in his beachfront home with a fat ass government paycheck, knowing he is safe from persecution.
Mr Christie - you are the epitome of corruption. STFU. We as a nation are tired of you and your 'all for me' sh*t. You will be nothing more than a footnote in history. A joke that parents will relay to their children as a word of warning..
It was, at best, just another in a long list of the current Government's utter failures - .a disastrous and expensive 'opinion poll' with no balls, aimed at pacifying those who funded the PLP's election drive.
There was no obligation **ever** for the government to rule based on its results.
And lets face it, web shops are going nowhere - if the government **did** attempt to shut them down, they would simply go underground - the numbers racket is too engrained in the Bahamian culture for it to disappear overnight.
With that in mind, only a fool would think the best course is to attempt to shut them down, or simply maintain the status quo. It makes **far** more sense to regularise them and let the country benefit from the funds they can create in the form of taxation.

Seriously, Mr Pinder?
This administration is barely able to *unwrap* a piece of gum, yet alone actually manage to get in in their mouth and chew it.
