That's not an option for the homeowner. The covenants require the property owner to be governed by the POA.
Basically, there's no avoiding getting screwed by VAT, while the government *we* hire screws us all so they can continue to run a lax operation with millions upon millions of unpaid taxes...
But at least we know our hard earned money is going to worthwhile causes such as an inflated civil service of incompetent lazy staff, Fred Mitchell and his entourage traveling the world, etc, etc
But while we sit in front of our computers and provide our worldly insight in comment threads on websites, nothing will change.
VAT is a consumer tax, not a business tax. The end consumer carries the weight of all of it.
All businesses are going to have higher expenses because of the tax and the substantial administration overhead it will bring in order to remain compliant. Those increases will be offset by an increase to their pre-VAT prices/fees to cover those costs.
Now add the government's VAT onto that, and consumers can expect to see an immediate increase in the price of, literally, everything they currently pay for.
The government is happy, because instead of getting 15% of say, $100, they now get 15% of $125 as the business has to raise their selling price to cover the costs of implementing VAT in their business.
The 'man on the street' is the only one who is going to get kicked in the face with VAT.
Well, I guess that shows that the whole ankle bracelet/monitoring thing is a joke and ICS is simply collecting coin.
If not, why did no one monitoring this guy notice he was located in an area with no buildings, but hadn't moved for what must have been some considerable time, if his body was decomposed.
Wow. So now we will see an influx of yet more poorly maintained, old, damaged cars as people go for the cheapest option? While people wanting to purchase clean, green hybrids get screwed?
