Bless his heart, he is setting up his run for leadership of the FNM. He sat in cabinet, was Minister of Health. He conveniently left out the role he played. Let's be real the morgue and the trailers fell under his portfolio. Nonetheless, this are valid questions. However, I notice a trend with these Ministers when the public are criticising they are mum and, point fingers at everyone else. The Minister of Social Services and National Defence have had nothing to say about this matter. They, along with the Minister of Health are responsible for DNA, missing persons and identifying bodies - those matters concern public health, police and pathologists. The bodies only could be buried because cabinet - the relevant Ministers directed that it be done. I guess Sands has decided to take on a new role as the voice of the people, i'm sure the next FNM convention will be exciting.
I wonder if taking the statute down will stop bahamians from "yes massa" when white people they think have money come around, from being rude and dismissive to people who look like them, but "yes massa" - ing when white people they think have money come around; will the ministry of tourism advertisments stop pandering to white people....no we cant rewrite history. I agree with the professor on the news, put it in a museum.
Okay, thats reasonable. You dont think its a little different from saying every child in the bahamas, lives in abject poverty, has no wifi, cell phone, device or running water, and because of this they couldnt study.... and no the students can only bear so much responsibilty. But, if your parents...
I honestly don’t find anything this man has said since he was given the role of fam chairman to be sensible, savvy, clever, bright or intelligent. Then they gave him national honours, what a disgrace. He is comes off very ignorant, and proud to be.
"My COVID task force has provided them with a plan to open the economy and it starts off with ensuring that the proper resources are in place, the proper resources meaning personal protective equipment for our first responders. It requires us having sufficient test kits and testing on the ground always and not just in New Providence.”
My god, this man is like a senile old man "talking old story". For someone who has press conference every week he has nothing to say. Thats all your covid task force came up with, we need to go shopping. Or maybe he will reveal his plan when u all finally allow him to be pm of the bahamas.
What i would like him to explain is why some vendors in gb are saying they dont wanna participate in the small homes repair program because the last govt didnt pay them from hurricane matthew.
What i find interesting is who he and parliamentarian colleagues will actually stay in parliament during an important budget debate and listen to. I guess if they dont have anything to attack u about it is important. Seems if u were genuine you would be there asking piercing questions not out to lunch.
I kinda have to agree. Only two months of teaching would have remained, probably should have still been preparing or ensuring that your children were preparing or operating as if it would still happening until it was cancelled, in particular persons residing in the capital. I assume they still expect the students to matriculate or move on to the next year. However, if they don’t wanna do it don’t do it cause they only gonna perform poorly; or push them back to December.
Alas, where does that politically charged slogan fit into this discussion or the contents of his comment. My point is stop saying things that don’t make sense or if one doesn’t understand what they mean.
All lives matter, is the slogan used by white people to negate and reduced claims racism, bigotry, violence etc carried out against black or racialized groups in the USA.
