This is the topic but i dont think the govt kept saying 50 to be deceptive, i think they kept saying 50 cause all 50 have been identified, so i mean if i say 300 ppl died and i dont know who these 300 are, that doesnt progress the matter any further.
...But everything else said and did on social media against his oppenents and person who dont support his ignorance should be disregarded. These ppl have no shame.
It makes sense now, that VN that was going around slandering the lady, Iram Lewis obviously promise the Penn woman something and so she or whoever slandering the DRA woman name in WhatsApp voice-notes now cause she must be shut that down ...ha, then the Penn lady around the place like she was doing things out of the goodness her heart but looking for big money
Everyone accepts click to clear had issues in the beginning. So no one had a moment since September to learn click to clear, you don’t think online system today would help in the circumstances? Is no one else in the Bahamas, Abaco, or grand Bahama using click to clear and or paying their custom bond? They have done any work or earned a penny since September? Well if they have been carrying freight for free for seven months, I admire their sacrifice
Everyone has to but your saying that yoU shouldn’t have to because of the Hurricane...click to clear you were suppose to have been acquainted with prior to, seems like it would have helped
Well though it may not matter to us, technically as a matter of international law - the un convention on the law of sea zones every countries "territorial waters" as starting from the shore then extends 12nm after 12nm, the next 12 nm is categorised as eez or exclusive economic zone, then something else, then high seas. The Bahamas is a archipelago, so after territorial waters we also have a zone referred to as archipelagic waters. Its relevant because international law says intl ships and vessels have different rights in these zones. If they are using territorials waters in its legal sense, though it all encompasses the Bahamas, they may not be being disingenuous.
I think it says that every ship is doing it, in his television interview he referred to international practice which is to dump 3 nm outside territorial waters... if that is so, given that we are a transshipment route many ships have potentially guilty but obviously not all are caught and certainly not alll our carnval corp who we know has money. Further more many of us are sea farers, when i go out i dont often think about what happens when i flush the toilet on the boat, and i know i see beer bottles cans, garbage floating around on occasion, is that any less egregious
I dont understand how we could hate hutch, who employs half the island, pays our children school fees, provides us and our families health care, sponsors and donates to our community, invested millions in gb maritime industry leading to it being the leading transhipment point in this hemisphere.
