@sheeprunner, only 5% downpayment is required for residential lots. If someone can not afford to put down $1250 for home ownership, they have bigger issues at hand.
Lol this won’t end well, is Dames indirectly trying to get rid of 50% of the force. The Bahamas is the 6th fattest country in the world for a reason....
LOL, the workers are being used as pawns by their multi-millionaire bosses... Sebas and Flowers do not care about you nor will they close down all of their businesses as a result of being taxed....
This ‘march’ presented was a complete embarrassment and these workers unfortunately do not understand that they are being used as pawns.
Island Luck made it mandatory for their workers to participate, what kind of foolishness is this.... then the disgraced PLPs were also present, what an utter and complete joke this was
The tribune posts maybe 2-3 articles a day on the web shop, an industry the Bahamian people already rejected. I am starting to believe these same number boys are paying the Tribune to spam their outlet, it’s the only thing that makes sense. They’re reaching out for opinions on this matter from any and everyone.
I blame the Tribune and the Guardian for their lack of effort with reporting. They look for people who the Bahamian people have little interest in hearing from for comments (eg fred Mitchell, Bradley Roberts, Sam Dumbcombe and did I mention Fred Mitchell).
The lack of quality journalist in this country is a damn shame
For decades the PLP did absolutely nothing for over the hill, and now that they’re in opposition they actually have something to say... if this wasn’t published in the tribune I wouldn’t believe it. This is truly remarkable
