I think most Bahamians would agree this sounds like a wonderful idea, let’s just see how this is executed. Everything I’ve heard so far sounds great, it will be a difficult task to regulate this exercise and ensure it’s not abused.
Fellow readers, don’t pay attention to idiots like BahamasforBahamas, this guy has like 5 different accounts on this site and is clearly a PLP apologist. Please just read his previous comments, he applauds the previous administration (LOL WHY??) and criticizes everything this current administration does.
Why does the tribune encourage idiots like the poster above to flood their articles with nonsense and misinformation.
Birdie, every financial statistic available to us let’s us know the PLP mismanaged our funds and spent money like drunken sailors, yet you see no wrong in their doings.
Grow up you nincompoot and stop flooding these articles with misinformation
Can anyone understand what Tal says sometimes? The words are English, but when you read her sentences, they either don’t make any sense or is very difficult to understand.
This is the type of progressive legislation that I enjoy hearing about. It appears with this bill we will have an opportunity to grow different industries in The Bahamas, while also having the opportunity to have Bahamians occupy these positions while obtaining a job.
@Bogart, the 3.5% rating was in 2014 when we had an investment grade credit rating. I don’t know if you are willfully daft or if you just overlooked that part.
One thing I must say about D’aguillar is this man appears to be the hardest working man in government and has a real business mindset towards how our country should be ran. If the opportunity presents itself, he needs to have a larger role in government and even a bigger portfolio than tourism with respect to our economy.
The Tribune should apologize for publishing leaks that they have failed to do their due diligence on. For the life of me it makes no sense how the PLP spun this story to make this look like the FNM is on a witch hunt when in fact this was the result of poor due diligence from the Tribune.

This man along with the rest of his colleagues are absolutely clueless when it comes to growing an economy.
The last administration’s performance alone should discredit any recommendation that is made by the PLP.
