There is nothing wrong with this - perfect English.

Christie and his deadbeat cabinet know full well that the country is nowhere near ready to introduce a national health programme. Just like they had the answer to crime they are pretending they have the answer to health. They are going to try and "build a house on sand". It will not work - public servants will rebel if forced to drop their private coverage for a chaotic, third rate service. Most of our specialist physicians will remain outside of the programme dealing only with clients whose employers are generous and wise enough to maintain their group coverage. The PLP has squandered the Nation's wealth since 2012. The millions of dollars that has been misappropriated could have been spent building a new remand centre at Fox Hill and new and functional clinics across the country. Shame on all of them. Shame on anyone who votes for these jokers in May.

Loretta has played her hand really badly. I am beginning to think she is devoid of political all instinct? Could you imagine her running the country with her poor level of decision making?

Halkitis has "sold his soul to the devil" along with all the other shameless PLP politicians. How can you respect someone who is part of this Mafia organisation and tries to defend the indefensible? His performance at the Convention was a disgrace as was his subsequent "economics for dummies" radio performance. Birdiebrain above thinks that the likes of Halkitis and Wilson are to be admired. That kind of warped mentality is part of the reason why the country is in the sh#t that it is in.

The standard of driving in The Bahamas is appalling. Drivers here in Nassau have no idea how to navigate two lane roundabouts, four way stops and my biggest beef is drivers taking huge risks in overtaking, sometimes only to gain fifty yards. You really do take your life in your hands every time you take to the roads in Nassau. Grand Bahama is equally dangerous.

Excellent article. Halkitis is an over hyped political lightweight. He would never cut it in a first world country. At least he admitted his "where da VAT gone" speech was framed for the yellow shirted brain dead, pom pom brigade at the Christie crowning convention. Thank God for journalists like Candia Dames who exposed this charleton for all he is worth. The HMS PLP and all who sail in her is about to go under in a few months time and I hope there will be no survivors.

They should rename it "The Beijing Palace". I can't believe the Baha Mar brand has any value thanks to the PLP.

Hubert Ingraham needs to take part responsibility for the shambles the FNM finds itself in today. He should have continued for two more years and used that time to stabilise the party and find a successor prior to his retirement. Had he done so the FNM would have been ready to end the calamitous reign of Perry Christie. Instead the country can only hope and pray that even hitherto loyal PLP supporters are sickened enough to vote these jokers out.
