I think The Hon. Loretta Butler-Turner has what it takes to lead any party at this time in the Nations history. She is articulate, bold and can project her thoughts into appropriate words on her feet without a written script. This is the kind of leader who can command the attention of not only the Bahamas but the world. If the Free National does not vote her in as leader on November 21, 2014 it could be a chance that will not present itself again. It will take a leader like Loretta to lead the Free National Movement into becoming the next Government. If she loses the FNM will remain in opposition. Delegates need to think about the future of the party and not let "friendship" determine the way they vote. I am not an FNM but will certainly consider if the Hon. Loretta Butler-Turner becomes leader. A vote for Loretta will make history for the Free National Movement as it will give the Bahamas its first female leader and she will go on to be the bahamas' first female prime minister.i hope the delegates will vote and do the Bahamas proud. Just THINK what will cause the WORLD to stand up and take note of our little country. a vote for loretta will make the bahamas shine proud!!!
I have watched The Hon. Loretta Butler Turner in the debates in the Hon. House of Assembly and I feel she is better able to hold the The Government's feet to the fire. She is ready and able to respond intelligently on any topic that is discussed. She can cause the Free National Movement to be the Government when elections are called in 2017. She can speak intelligently with World Leaders (without referring to written script)and make the Bahamas proud. When elected she will be the First Women to lead a political party in the Bahamas and go on to be the First Female Prime Minister of The Bahamas. She will make women proud and take our Bahamaland to unprecedented heights. I say a vote for Loretta is a vote for Progress for the Bahamas, progress for women. We need the Hon. L. Butler-Turner to unite the Free National Movement and unite the Bahamas. Loretta should be the Leader of Chose for Free National Movement delegates on November 21, 2014.
