FNM not gonna risk an easy win in Montagu with Lightbourn behind the reigns, they'll have to find someone else.

Big LOL to the claim that FNM is seeking big business men to back them...after all the talk about "elites" you can't be serious.

On Lightbourn may be replaced

Good news, hope they keep up the good work and I hope the lobster abundance isn't just a climatological anomaly. We need better records of the annual tonnage of lobster harvested country wide though.

There's a lot more sea grass and hard bottom closer to Atlantis. Further east near the (used to be) local-ish side the sand is a lot deeper and stretches further into the sea...but the sand is constantly shifting there. Wealthy residents to the east keep dumping new sand on the beach and it keeps getting pulled out into the channel between PI and Salt Cay, soon to be a sandspit there.

But yes jet-ski's are an issue when they aren't behind the barriers...gets worse in the winter when the guys want to jump the swells to show off...

Found because of routine sampling not discovered by the manufacturer itself....soooooooo how many other batches over the years have exceeded the lead limits? If this wasn't attributed to failing machinery or bad storage conditions or some other limiting factor who's to say it isn't more widespread...

I would assume the amount of lead in the curry powder is very minimal and a weekend bottom fishermen probably absorbs more lead through his skin over the years but...

I think globalization and media exaggeration is a bigger issue with these viruses. Ebola was bouncing around Africa in small regions for a long time (since 1976), Zika since 1952 http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factshee… , chikungunya around the same time. Don't feel like looking up Monkey Pox, Bird Flu, mad cow etc but with ease of travel, expansion into rainforests, and the growth of industrial agriculture/farming these things are bound to happen.

Yes we must all be aware and you should watch what you eat, and clean up your yard to prevent mosquito reproduction but I don't think its a conspiracy....then again...how will we ever really know...

I noticed he never mentions VAT free zones when he talks about the inner city. I just hope people realize that would be nearly impossible to maintain hence he usually highlights that the exempted taxes will be real property tax, duty reductions on approved items, don't remember about business license fee talk but that would be a mistake as well. All in all it "might" work in a regulated, law-abiding country but in The Bahamas it will just be used inappropriately and as a loop hole for people to cheat the system.
