Why is it then that we can have Cuban-Bahamians, American-Bahamians or Bahamian-American? But not Haitian American?? We need to just accept people for who they are and stop labeling!!!

I left The Bahamas a little over a year ago. Honestly if I didn't have kids, I would stayed and fight for my country, but with the present politicians in power sometimes you have to know when to fold'em and walk away. I advise anyone, especially with kids if you have the opportunity to leave The Bahamas, do it! The Bahamas will always be my home, but sometimes you have to love your country from a distance.

So true Sheeprunner12. We boast of moving forward, but The Bahamas was trust into the dark ages under Pindling rule, who ruled the country with an iron fist. We speak about our cruel Haitians are hacking each other to death with Machete. Bahamians are just as cruel, they hack you to death words, blacklisting, gossip. I know people who spoke out against the people and were force to flee The Bahamas after being blacklisted. We will never move forward as a people until we get rid of our niggery(as my grandmother used to say) attitudes.
