The problem is that we Bahamians hate the idea of real discipline. We hate the idea of disciplining someone who assaults an officer, and we cant stomach the idea of disciplining an MP for breaking the law. Munroe is a criminal lawyer, which means everything out of his mouth is skewed toward helping criminals for a nice paycheck (at the expense of law abiding citizens).

If we cant stomach sending criminals to prison for breaking the law, then the idea of fighting crime is just a joke and we shouldn't play surprised when murders and rapes are in the hundreds.

I think they should state the age as well. To just leave it as 'Child Pornography' makes it sound like he recorded some 10 year-olds or something. If he recorded a 16/17 year-old then there should be a different charge for that.

But of-course forward independent thinking is way beyond our legal system.

*Investigators said that a “**strong motivator and psychological factor**” acting on the crew was the “presence of and need of VIPs on board to get to Freeport that evening.”*

But what exactly does this mean? Were they under pressure to get the VIP's to Freeport that evening at all costs? Did this unwittingly cause them to make improper decisions?

Exactly what caused the investigators to come to this conclusion (was something overheard)?

So many questions, but I guess we can never really know... My prayers go out to the families who still have to deal with being reminded of this tragedy...
