Well the testimony revealed thus far is the accuser was. Dr. She knew about the man’s abusive behavior ( can’t say rape because when ask why she didn’t report his prior behavior she said ‘because they were in a relationship.’ And she did travel from the Family Island from where she lived to meet and stay with the accused.

Hush.. and listen to one lil secret. The reason why the PM stalling with the marital rape bill, which he done promised some people he will pass isn’t because he believes ‘rape is rape’ but he gats to get Cornish out the pen first. They couldn’t buy off the virtual complainant so now they trying other things. But they ain’t gat time on their hands ( unless they have a Timex watch) so gat to quash this they move for general election after the weed bill get pass.

Inflation, inflation , inflation! With the cost of labor and materials through the roof, a contractor can easily lose his shirt in a project that was underbiddef, poorly financed, delayed or poorly managed. Builders don’t realize how much the cost of construction has increased and they may find that giving their construction to the lowest bidder is like throwing money down a well. And some contractors , who going by the old rules and not crunching the numbers and including for delays and cost overruns may find themselves in a financial straight even before the project is halfway complete.

So is this a political trial or is the leader of the opposition involved in the case., is he a witness?

I am sure the family is tired of reliving this story. Especially with the number of shootings band bodies being discovered. You can imagine how nerve wrecking and unsettling it is. And just when you manage to get peace of mind then a body is found and then wrongly reported to be the missing young man. Then another body is found and a third body in almost tge space of twenty four hours. And for many the only thing more heartbreaking and troubling than death is not knowing what happened to a loved one. So y’all people who have the means and the audience to spew lies and mistruths, be more sensitive. Especially when it comes to death, missing persons and reports of a personal nature. Don’t add to a family’s heartbeat and emotional suffering. And even with that the public is waiting to know who the two bodies discovered are.

Hubert Ingraham has been running the FNM from his rocking chair from over a decade. After the election, which was a poor decision by Hubert Minnis to call early, he , along with Duane Sands and others, unceremoniously stripped, and mostly for personal reasons, stripped Hubert Minnis of ALL his powers, titles and posts in the FNM. Duane Sands even went as far as to challenge and try move Minnis from his Delaporte seat. As time passed, it became patently clear that even though Bahamians were mad ( and disappointed) in Minnis because of how he handled the pandemic, he was still popular with the people. Not only that, but doubts started to be raised about Michael Pintard. Was he ready, experienced and qualified enough to lead the party into an election and win? It is a faction of the FNM that is calling for Minnis to return and lead the party into an election that may be as early as next year. Government is touting a booming economy, and it is for some. But over 30 percent of Bahamian households are struggling to put food on their table. Many local businesses that are not tourist oriented are a few months from closing their doors. And Bahamians do not trust the secrecy and uncertainty surrounding BPL. A law was hurriedly passed to give the police powers of ‘search and arrest’ only based on ‘suspicion’ . More powers than a judge had. Who is this law intended to be used against. And if thebFNM cannot win the next election, they surely must triple the number of seats they currently hold in the HOS.

Maybe a tribunal trial, but a one judge trial will obviously lead to justice being fingered in its most vital parts. The country is too small not to come in contact with judges known to defendants or some being disliked or showing favoritism

John says...

Well According to Pintard, this will be the last and only opportunity for persons wanting to join the FNM team to do so before the next election. Obviously the short notice gives the Minnis ‘Dream Team’ little time to prepare and to garner support. BUT with talks of an early election ( next year). Everyone on the clock.

Don’t dare say Brave Davis will even go further and sell off the revenue making part of BPL and leave the Bahamian two with the other two segments PLUS the company’s $600 Million legendary debt.

Economies of scale dictate that THREE companies doing the same job as one cannot operate effectively. They will separate the cash cow from the other two creatures and leave a more cash strapped government to feed them with tax fodder
