Vaccines have become a hard sell here in The Bahamas and in the US. So now they are attempting to reward or gift persons who take the vaccine. Will this be the third and final wave? Will Covid-19 start disappearing by June and mostly gone by summer?
Not to rain on anyone’s parade, but what are the safety protocols for cruise ships that port in The Bahamas? If there is some sort of emergency on the ship, say an virus outbreak, does that ship return to its (Bahamas) home port? And when there is say a corona outbreak on a ship does those numbers be included in the stats for The Bahamas? And if there is a lockdown or cease from sailing order by say the CDC, will those ships ‘port’ in The Bahamas and will bathe crews be allowed shore leave? This was a big issue during the pandemic because there wasn’t sufficient dock space for many ships to port in Florida. So many had to ply the seas and come to ports in the Bahamas to change crews, refuel or stick up on supplies.
Don’t forget conch poisoning can also be related to a virus. And the corona virus can move from humans to other animals, cows goats pigs.. conch ? Is there a relation? Persons who got it said it’s the worst they ever experienced. Then there is that sewerage plant at Malcolm Park that handles the waste for Paradise Island. And the marinas are more active now dumping waste water, some untreated into the ocean. And the cruise ships ain’t reach yet.
How come the media is not reporting on the conch poisoning on New Providence? People are reporting getting sick after eating conch from different places. One who was in bed since Sunday says, ‘it is something you don’t want to experience.’ Says it felt like she was having stomach surgery.
Not only is the US ‘giving away’ the AstraGenica vaccines, but it is shutting down a number of it’s super vaccination sites. People are no longer rushing to take the vaccines. And many who took the first shot are not returning for the second dose. Many believe this pandemic is drawing to an end. But a large number of persons who are testing for Corona have a recent history of travel. And if Minnis is to become so brain dead and allow travelers to bypass testing or fully vaccinated people to not wear masks at this juncture, there will be surges. The pandemic has to end globally for everyone. There is no such thing as an elite group being afforded special, pedigree privileges.
The US has no choice but to give the vaccines away as less and less Americans are showing up fir the jab, especially for the second one. Super vaccination centers are closing for lack of patients and another patient ( this time a male) has presented with blood clots days after taking the Johnson and Johnson vaccine
The US government says it will not be using the AstraGenica vaccine but it will donate the millions of doses to other countries. It plans to stick to the three vaccines already in use.
Many people are suffering from Corona fatigue. They are coming to a point where they will do anything to cause this Corona to go away. Including taking the vaccine. They just want to get it over with. They want it gone. Vulnerable..yes
