Not to condone the attacks on police officers but they are usually the aggressors in these type confrontations. And officers must be trained and re-trained when dealing with the public. These are not ordinary times. When an officer tries to issue a $500 ticket for someone who instinctively picks up his cell phone when it rings he will have an angry experience. With someone who just don’t know how he is going to find $500. And police are overly aggressive when it comes to young male drivers. It is time for the force to end personal body searches in public . Frisk yes but the full body search? A tool used in America to intimidate Black people.

Too bad there were six men murdered in this country recently and dozens of others. But their families and loved ones may never get closure. When it is a police involved killing, there is no full investigation and when it is a ‘criminal murder’ the suspects don’t always make it to trial. There are several more police officers in the US, including at least one female officer, that will be brought up on charges of killing young, black male suspects. One such ‘suspect’ was only 13 years old when he was chased by police and shot in the back. Police later claimed he had a semi-automatic weapon. Then there was the 20 year old young male who was stopped for driving with expired license tags. He tried to escape and was shot in the midsection by a female police officer who claims she thought she was using her taser and not her service weapon. And the US army sergeant, also Black, who was pepper sprayed and dragged from his vehicle and pinned to the ground, despite being in full uniform. He was abused with racist slurs and threatened by the officers. He has since filed a million-dollar lawsuit.

A company that manufactures the Johnson and Johnson vaccine is asked to pause production again amidst safety concerns after a tour of the plant. ALSO manufacturer’s of another vaccine discusses the possibility of patients having to take a third dose of the vaccine. But Dr Anthony Fauci says that decision will be made by the Centers for Disease Control and the Food and Drugs Administration, not by individual manufacturers.

John says...

Three quick points: 1. In basically every area where there has been mass vaccinations, the Covid numbers have gone up. 2. A spokesman from CDC tried to explain this away by saying, whenever someone who is not vaccinated comes in close contact with someone who is vaccinated, the non vaccinated person will eventually test positive for the virus. She went on to say the body hides traces of the virus and even though the non vaccinated person will show no symptoms, they will test positive... due to being in contact with a vaccinated person. This one is still over the top and can only mean vaccines will eventually be mandatory. No longer a choice. 3. The CDC says they will be moving in to poor or impoverished countries to ensure the vaccine is made available. Their rationale is that ‘you can’t beat a virus of pandemic if a large segment of the population is not vaccinated. And, according to them. Poor people in densely populated areas pose a higher risk of becoming infected. So is that again to conclude that people in India, Africa, Mexico, Haiti or Brazil for example, will have no choice on whether they are vaccinated? Maybe even The Bahamas? This is scary stuff.

Why are so many places that has mass vaccinations seeing increases in covid numbers? Is there a relationship between the vaccine and the increasing numbers?

While it has been confirmed that the country is experiencing a third wave of Corona and also that the CDC has issued a travel advisory for the entire Bahamas, authorities seem to be dragging their feet in putting stricter measures in place to help control the virus. There were five or six schools on New Providence that reported children coming to school and testing positive and some of these schools had to be closed. A full lockdown will be too costly to a country in economic turmoil but some measure has to be taken, at least in the highly infected areas. There are reports of tourists refusing to wear masks on hotel properties and putting staff at risk

Wouldn’t it be such a wonderful, wonderful day and country if the police were not even suspected of being involved in this horrific murder and that the commissioner did not have to come in the media to put up a defense for the police. But unfortunately society has seen the actions of the police, on numerous occasions, especially of late where young men were killed by police. And the only way to remove this cloud of suspicion from over the police force is to find the culprits, and bring them to trial before a judge and jury. And so what are the chances of that happening in this day and time? Sad to say, but it is a fact that many fear the police more than they fear the criminal element and even gangs. The commissioner must take heed from a former judge who says it’s time to end America’s FAKE war on drugs which is actually a war on the young men of this country. eighty million metric tonnes of cocaine is ‘smuggled’ into the United States annually. Mostly now through New York and California. And most of it is on licensed and legitimate cargo ships. When last did you hear of a major drug bust in any of those states?

John says...

Unfortunately it is the police under the direction of marvin dames who have the biggest reputation for doing these type killings over the past several years. Starting with the riddling of the young man through MCCollough corner , who was on his way to work. Then the car by the graveyard on Spikenard Road was riddled with three men. And similar by the bank on Mackey Street. And the house on the Eastern Road. And the young man by the ‘tracks’ and the one on Wulff Roa amidst several others. This country needs a full investigation of this and those matters. Who has access to this type firepower?
