‘Bahamas needs a new cash cow’. Bahamas needs cows period. And goats and sheep and chicken and tomatoes and corn. We MuST cut down our dependence on external sources for food. Especially to America that has many gmo foods and experimental foods ) and medicines) on the market. Not only that, many countries have the means to weaponize the foods they produce and the water and the medicines. So if you have to go to them a begging, they may not say ‘no.’ But you , as a country, may wish they did. The term is ‘useless consumers.’
This man has blurred vision and brain damage. Didn’t his irresponsible assistance in opening the borders cause hundreds of Corona cases? Cruise ships will NOT sail until next year. One outbreak of Corona on a cruise ship with thousands of passengers can cause that cruise line millions, plus the potential for hefty lawsuits.
But closing the food stores two days back to back? when they do this, wither there will be overcrowding in the stores and/or long lines in front of them, and on the side and in the back. So what will usually be a one hour or less trip to the food store turns to be several hours. More exposure, more crowding and more stress on food store operators and customers.
And the pist of landlords wanting to evict tenants os growing by leaps and bounds. Some tenants are just not paying. Of course many may not be working but how long can landlords sustain them with no income? Its a rock and a hard place situation.
Harvest less and give the breeding grounds some relief. Hotels and restaurants here are mostly closed, so are the cruise ships not operating and many other places around the world still closed.
The fact that the US refuses to unite and get strict and get corona under control will set the entire world back in the fight to get rid of this pandemic. And so this country must now put the welfare and safety of its citizens above everything else
Can the government just put two billboards at the airport; One at the departure side that says, "this is the Corona count as you leave," and one at the exit (for those returning) saying, "this is the Corona count as you return."
