Shouldn’t candidates be selected on best qualified rather than trying to fill a gender quota. Pandering to certain groups is bound to cause an election fail.
Whatever happened with the guy that was found (apparently) beaten to death on someone’s lawn? What is the history behind that murder and was anyone ever arrested?
What is patently clear is the special interest groups are telling Minnis and K P and the other lackeys, ‘Give us what we want.’ The cars, the property taxes the fees on exchange for Bahamians, then make up the shortfalls by taxing the ordinary, hardworking Bahamian even more.’ A clear case of smoke and mirrors. So while the tourist economy is booming (offshore). Bahamians are taking home less and being taxed more. So the chances of Bahamians earning a piece of their country is becoming less and less. The tax burden is becoming more and more. The FNM Economic policy is reversed. A successful economy empowers more of the people. It creates more wealth that is shared wealth and not wealth due to exploitation. At the end of their term, the Bahamas will have more poor people and see a great shrinking of the middle class and the ordinary upper class. The 3 or 3 percent elite and special interest will bag all the country’s wealth.
Kalik is ‘too heavy ‘ it makes you feel loggy and sleepy so it’s has become an old man’s beer where they drink one or two and go to bed. Kalik light is much better among the younger crowd. It has a better flavor, as does Sands light and gives a buzz that drinkers want to feel. Bud light is the new ‘caffeine ‘ of beers. It goes down well and drinkers can consume beer after beer. But Bud Light speeds up the heart rate and can drive up your pressure. So unlike Kalik or Sands when you try get o sleep you will find you can only sleep for short periods at a time. And the next day you have a racing mind. And most of the younger crowd are bypassing beers for Hennessy, Stoli, Grey Goose, Kendrick’s or Jell-O shots. Drinks in the club can run up to $35, even on the dinner table at Bah Mar. So they try something exotic and get the 3 for $6 on the way home.
