Licks2 obviously you are unaware of the bad blood that exist between American Blacks and the Parkistanians and The people from India. Maybe because they operate or work in businesses in the low income Black communities, they see every Black man as a threat or troublesome. And obviously something was going on in this neighborhood and these particular people and that’s why after stabbing the victim he told him to ‘go and don’t come back.’ The Us is a very segregated place, everyone stay to their selves, the Cubans, the Haitians the Middle Easterners. And to be honest as a black person visiting one would be safer going into a McDonalds, Wendy’s or Burger King than going around these people who may be at war with local blacks and look at you as one of them. When the Cubans moved into Miami, the white people sold their businesses to them and moved North. And most Blacks who could afford to also had to move because Cubans don’t hire Blacks.

America has 10 states that have legalized marijuana for recreational use and 33 states that have legalized it for medical use. But yet the US federal government has marijuana listed is a schedule 1 drug with the likes of cocaine. And even though cannibis companies are the fastest companies going public in the US, they have to be licensed on a state by state basis because the US federal government still considers marijuana to be an illegal substance. And here in this country, while there should be no great rush to legalize weed for recreational use. It is really time now from ruining someone’s life over a joint. At worse it can be a ticketed offense where the individual pays a fine with no record. And then maybe the disgusting scene of police doing intimate body searches on the streets and highways can also disappear.

The Netherlands has had to close some of its prisons due to lack of prisoners. The falling crime rate, especially serious crimes, and shorter prison sentences have led to a declining prison population. On the other hand America has one of the highest prison populations and gives out some of the longest prison sentences. And that is who this country has most closely patterned its prison and sentencing of offenders after. And since there is little or no prison reform, the longer an inmate remains ‘put away’, the more difficult it is for him to adapt when he returns to society. And the culture among gang bangers, promoted in rap music is you have to go to jail to earn your stripes. But now it’s even more serious than that because the promotion is to do a murder. And so the murderer population in the prison is increasing and since many will get life sentences, how does this fit in with prison reform. Of course if someone knows they will spend the rest of their natural life in jail, their intention may be to keep as many inmates in with them for as long as possible if not forever. And so for any reform to be effective the prison must be segregated as such. Then the question as to why so many return to prison must be answered. Have they become so accustomed to living like and being treated like animals that the prison environment becomes priority on their hierarchy of needs and so they must return?
