So when is The Tribune going to interview the good Dr. Allen and get his professional opinion on a police force that beats, verbally abuses and smothers young men with plastic bags? The worst memory of many young men is their horrible, life changing experience with the police, and in most instances they had committed no crime. What are the long term effects of this experience? What about young men coming to Nassau from the Family Islands to get a passport or do other business only to be picked up thrown into cells by half drunk, ego inflated police officers for entire weekends? What type of madness is this Mr. Commissioner?

Every home should seek to put in solar panels to power their fridge and water heater. And unless you have air- conditioning that will cut your electricity bill in half. For most homes the water heater doesn’t have to be anything fancy. Just placing a water tank in an area that gets most direct sunlight can work. And for homes with more hot water usage build a grid with a series of galvanized or copper pipes running to the tank.

At least he coulda say ‘the officers responsible for beating the distraught father have been relieved of their duties pending investigation.’ Because the entire country and other parts of the world are convinced the beating took place.” And suffocating a human being in. Plastic Bag commissioner? That is more dangerous than water boarding which is illegal even in war zone.. O but then there are also those stories about the police and the canal.

You see those big cruise ships that come to the Bahamas? Yes the new ones. Every single piece of equipment on them including engines, lights, a/c water makers, kitchen equipment are powered by fuel cell that can run a ship 20-25 years before it needs replacing. In some parts of Texas and Ohio and others, electricity is free from midnight to 6 am and other areas have incentives for consumers who use electricity off peak. So why are Bahamians still being saddled with electricity bills they cannot afford to pay. The whole fiasco in Venezuela is about preventing that country’s oil from reaching world markets. In economic terms Donald Trump would gently call it maintaining price stability, never mind millions of people are near to starvation. And ass more and more electric vehicles are produced and alternative forms of energy are used to power factories and plants and even cities, the more difficult it will be to maintain the price of oil. Beware : some also use war as an economic tool to create consumption or end recession.

If you could only believe this man. Maybe he should hold his nose when he talks, like he expects the public to hold their breath while investigates what is protocol on his police force. And that’s not only officers consuming alcohol while on duty. BTW it’s snowing again in Andros.

Ok so if you cannot stop or control them going to Miami how will you enforce tax on them? All will end up happening is the persons already paying taxes will end up paying more and going out of business.
