It is good that the gaming boys stood up to the government. It is better that they won some ground and were not taxed as heavily as was intended. It will be even better when the people seek and demand that ALA gaming houses, web shops and foreign owned casinos be taxed by the same yardstick. No discrimination, black or white, foreign or Bahamians no discrimination. And those who still say they oppose gaming on the grounds of Christian principles are the biggest hypocrites. It is the foreign owned casinos that stole your Sabbath and values almost half a century ago. And of the dozens of cruise ships that come to the Bahamas weekly, all have casinos. None are taxed at the level of the Web shop boys. So stop blaming your cockeyed blind view on Christian principles . Stop it.

Two things the government must do immediately. Seek to give immigration officers more training to ensure that they operate within the law, especially when it comes to violating once human and constitutional rights. Secondly, government should move to place a cap on the amount of monetary compensation and one immigrant, legal or illegal can garnish from any immigration matter. And as a footnote government should seek to regularise or deport any persons residing in the country without status.

They complain and run crying about the EU and being blacklisted but here is one of the most blatant forms of discrimination where la large portion of the banking sector do not want to accept money from a ligitimate, a licensed and tax paying sector of the economy. Albeit they are all Black and the protesting banks represent the racist and redneck policies of the EU. But yet they accept casino money. Money that the same of more exposure to the criminals even on an international scale. So not much has changed since when over fourth years ago Sir Milo Butler use to throw his very full size body on top of the service counter at Royal Bank and demand they hire more Blacks. Yes, more Black faces may be in the banks now but the evil, racist discrimination remain. And so now the time for countries like the Bahamas to draw away from organizations like The EU and banks that refuse legitimate money and join up with other countries with a new separate but equal law. And then persons in government who pander to and wet their pants every time these people speak must be removed from power. Modern day Uncle Toms.

Time for Caribbean nations African nations and Central and South America to form their own alliance. Then approach organizations like the EU and the WTO as one block, or ignore them completely. Power of numbers.

Obviously you are singing for your supper. And your song is an ignorant one. Stupid even. Your attitude has always been, and apparently still is, nothing Bahamian is good or genuine. Since you have so much evidence that Sebas is a criminal and involved in money laundering you should pass your information onto the police and have him taken before the courts. Otherwise, your grudge and jealousy of Sebas and the number boys is patently obvious. It is the people's time. And you have no shame.

Darron Cash is an uneducated jackass when it comes to finance. Wasn’t he among those who sat and watched BoB implode due to corruption, theft and mismanagement? Now that the Bank is on the rebound he is now holler in wolf wolf wolf at the top of his lungs. Yes the financial markets are tough. But BoB was able to weather the storm. And making a magnificent turn around. And whilst it may be dreanched in $300 million in tax payers money it still has assets to dispose of. And even if the full $300 million is not recovered at least the bank was worth saving as an ongoing concern. And after another two years or so the bank May be worthy of being sold at a price not of a fire sale. If not then before the next election the Minnis government must put measures in place to ensure that the bank is not raped and ravaged again.

No duty on commercial washing machines, helicopter and aircraft parts and no taxes on winning in foreign owned casinos. Can someone please unfly the flag.

Is the PLP big wigs running scared? Are they worried about how far their name is down on the "persons to prosecute" list, or worried that their names will be called even as this trial begins. This plenty money wat gone missing, and just before elections? How much was in the T Shirts? $200.00 or so?

Just look and see what’s happening in Venezuela. They created a situation where they rather millions of people starve just to drive up the price of oil. Then they still go in and steal the people’s money. Now that’s cold hearted corruption on an international level.

And the situation will get more difficult and more complicated the longer it is delayed. And So Far D’Aguilar is in the position to earn the ‘Best Performance ‘ ministry’s award under the current. He will get it ✅ done.
