While this may be a factor in the equation, what study group did Dr. Allen use to draw this conclusion?. And if this is the major factor that causes murder in this country, is it the same in Jamaica, Trinidad, major cities in the United States and now even Britain, yes London where little teenage boys are stabbing each other to death at epidemic rates. Yes, murder is a learned behavior. And there is more correlation between violent movies games, music that young people are exposed to. Its called channeling. Many were designed for that specific purpose. And when mixed with drugs and alcohol. Many will admit they cannot recall the specific moments when the actual murder occurred.

Shanty towns are an indication of poverty, not necessarily a monument for crime. Crime has no barriers. Unfortunately, the crime most people see manifests itself more in the poverty-stricken areas.

the eyewitness account is completely different from the police story. The law says a police must be in fear of his life in order to fire on someone. So every person the police kills has a weapon to attack or shoot the officer involved. But murder is murder.. The gun story was getting old and monotonous got it?

Whilst the incidents of police involved shootings are trending DOWN worldwide, these type killings seem to have become the modus operandi of this new administration. The public does not have enough confidence in the Minister of National Security, the commissioner or the police to allow them to be police, judge and executioner. Each of these killings should be fully and independent investigated.

The new culture of police killing. It doesn’t bear good fruit. Not really new just reintroduced. Some of the players are not new.

What Marvin Dames probably means is ‘the police cannot stop every murder by themselves. But once this Minnis Government gets more social and economic off the ground get people to rre-establish their morals and values, get them working and feeling a sense of value and contentment, then they themselves will become police. They will protect their homes and communities because those things now have value, And they will not allow no two bit drug dealer or gang banger wannabee to interfere with the peace, harmony and tranquility of the community. The criminals will be the ones running .. away from these communities.

And what is the new height restriction they want for the new Bay Street buildings? Maybe with an undated fire/emergency code as well.

It’s the people’s time! Hopefully Bahamians will come out of these Jamey’s deals with more than jobs, taxi drivers and hair braiders. How about ownership participation both on the government and private (Bahamian) citizen level. Some still have a can of coins to invest z.

And Donald Trump’s unemployment figures are showing a jump from 3.8 to 4.0 percent which indicates the US economy is slowing and may go into recession in early 2020. And the same is expected with China.
