The key is to growth is to make the business environment more friendly and encourage investment and stimulate growth. The signal the Minnis government is sending thus far (to local businesses) is if you become too successful we will tax you ore. And as long as government cannot achieve its fiscal goals you will get additional taxes despite your profitability.

Fox News (Trump’s Lackey) is reporting that the US Government took in more tax money in the past six months than ever in the history of the US. And Fox reports that this is not the real effects yet of Donald Trump’s deep tax cuts but the premature effects as companies move operations back to theUS, hires more employees, increase wages and employee benefits and invest in new plants and equipment. According to Fox, over one million jobs have been created I’ve the past six months and the national unemployment rate is now 3 percent. and trump wants to withdraw the usa from the WTO! In this country government seems to be headed in the direction opposite. They are attempting to choke additional tax dollars from businesses and residents and rushing to join the WTO. And despite drawing additional taxes from Bah Mar coming on stream, the increase in tourism and even the web shops, the government is not achieving its fiscal goals. Borrowing has not decreased, unemployment remains high and the appetite for tax revenue insatiable.

Now that it has been confirmed that VAT IS a variable rate, why do government still insist that stores go through such arduous pricing exercises every time the vat changes. Put the base price on the items and require all stores to display signs indicating that VAT will be added at the cash register. Simple!

Reasons to create a national lottery. It will be so much greater and attractive than the Florida lottery. Persons will just flock in droves to buy tickets that cost the same as the Florida but pay a fraction of the prize. Since our government is so efficient in running things, they will not hire foreign consultants and management teams to operate the lottery. And they will definitely consider the numbers boys who have proven their capabilities. There is no strong possibility that a national lottery set up under such strong competition and higher costs to operate will not go broke within five years. Government claims it wants to curb the number of dollars being gambled, so starting a national lottery will help accomplish this.

Government’s own attempts to provide low cost rental units failed. Simply because the maintenance on these properties are high and above average and the rental income is low and below profitability. While build a duplex in Bain or Grants Town to rent at $500 a month with maintenance cost of $5,000 a year, when you can build similar units in Stapleton or Carmichael and rent at $700 or $800 with a maintenance of $2-3000 a year.

The intended target of whom this bill is intended to snare is obvious. Graycliff just happens to be caught in the net. So they are taking away every single right and freedom. And even members of the government doesn’t understand what they are voting for. Sold out, hook, line and cigars too!

Stifles...stop your madness! BPL has been under the control of an American company going on 5 years now. Have you seen any improvement? All they do is dump senior employees every half term and promise to improve the power supply. Has Bah Mar had a power cut since it opened? The plan is to keep the misery level miserable.
