"So what is the mark of the beast? 666

According to Revelation 13:16, the mark of the beast is a marking on the right hand or on the forehead allowing people who receive this mark to either “buy or sell” (“and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.” ~Revelations 13:17).

This means that those who get the mark will be able to buy goods and run businesses to sell goods.

More sooner than later, it will be a requirement—perhaps by law—to get the mark and there will be serious consequences for those who refuse the mark.

Absolutely everyone will be required to get this mark. It doesn’t matter who you are whether you are rich or poor, old or young, free or imprisoned (Rev. 13:16) it will be a requirement to get it."

Banks are now doing away with passbooks and requiring everyone to get either a credit or debit card...Then most likely they will do away with currency, no more paper money or coins..Then the next phase....

The quicker the Bahamas learns to stop bowing to institutions like the IMF and Standard and Poors the better off it will be. These organizations are steeped in corruption and operates on collusion and their goal is to have every country under the control of one organization. Set the financial course for the country and stick to it, as much as possible. And when you see these people running towards you in the rear view then you what part of your posterior you can invite them to kiss. But the satanic one world system is still in the making. And eventually the whole world will accept the mark of the beast, except those who already have been marked.

Likewise many businesses may be suffering the same fate and having to close down simply because their business model is based on the drugs inflated economy model rather than the slim and mean and tough economy that exists today. And this is not just a reality for the Bahamas. In the United States, despite unemployment being below 5 % since Barack Obama’s sixth year in office, the housing market continues to struggle. Thousands of retailers or chain stores have shut their doors and yet the market continues to be brutal.

Considering that the Bahamian economy has been in this same "stagnant" condition for almost a decade on cam almost conclude that this is the normal Bahamian economy, post the drug era. One should remember before the drug smuggling culture entered The Bahamas even tourism was seasonal and many of the hotels closed in the off season. And while there may be some fluctuations in the employment and unemployment numbers this country will not see the mass amount of cash flow as was in the 1980's, 1909's and early 2000's. And if one was to drive around the island of New Providence the massive number of unkempt and decaying buildings, commercial resident tells the tale that the money that was around to construct these buildings are not around to maintain them. Visit any family island, including Grand Bahama to the North and any other island and the story is the same. And the recent barrage of hurricanes did not serve to better the situation, as in many instances, they were they final straw and gave struggling property owners a valid reason to walk away from their properties and let nature take its course.

Not saying to ease up on the Haitians but it would be good to see Immigration posted up at the Gates of Lyford Cay and Old Fort Bay and in the Abaco and see what is the real Immigration problem in this country. A lot of them who goosey the Immigration against the Haitians them and the same set involved in High grade human smuggling. Engineers and accountants and even doctors. Prove me wrong

Despite what the racist (white) jackasses say if I had the funds I would buy BTC just to force RBC to get it’s act together and STOP ripping off the Bahamian public

Like I said before, this sloop was probably already almost empty when it drifted into the defense force area. So most of the illegals probably got off further East . Yamacraw, South Beach in those areas. They probably communicated by cell phones and had cars come pick them up. Another option is this was a drug boat. Did the Defense Force check for drug residue before setting the boat on firs?

here we go... the split personalities at work again, each one greets one. BoB is learning to crawl before it tries to walk. The latest results proves it is capable of becoming solvent again and profitable, with the potential to repay the Bahamian taxpayer as American banks did under Obama. Why do you have a chip on your shoulder for everything Bahamian?

John says...

The Tribune is PLP in case you have forgotten. Hard work and due diligence generated the headline and hopefully, for long suffering Bahamian shareholders, February will bring more good news. And by June BoB may return to paying dividends. But more importantly the bank can regain its position in the banking market and offer consumers an alternative to having to stand in RBC's customer line for up to three hours to wait for their lack luster and overpriced services.
