The victims of murder are not just the ones whose lifeless bodies are left lying in the streets or in some vehicle or on someone’s doorstep or even hidden in some innocent bushes or shallow grave. Murder rips families apart. It stabs in the heart of communities, It causes businesses to close down and many dreams to go to the grave. And only worse than the horrific, unending pain of losing someone to a killer is knowing that that killer still runs free or sits in jail for over a decade and yet justice is not served. But in the first murder, when Cain killed his brother Able, as part of his punishment God put a mark on Cain and gave a command that no one should kill him. Another curse was that he would not prosper at anything he did. Even his crops would fail to bring forth from the ground on which he spilled his brother’s blood. How many today are suffering from the curses of Cain. And those who suffer loss to murder. The Bible admonishes you to be patient. Be patient as a farmer as he waters his crops and waits for them to grow. Justice may take long, but justice will come.
The robbery was not botched, it was foiled. Thanks to the bravery of a citizen who stood his ground. Hopefully the injured suspect will get a speedy trial and be sent away for a good while.
Christie looks like like a regular old Tarpum Bay paw. He has that Carey, Allen and Chrisite and McCartney blood and all these blood lines age gracefully. But Monique Pindiling put the dirty laundry out for all to see and now the PLP have a choice to wash it clean or stuff it back in the closet with Fwred Mitchell.

Brave Davis finds himself exactly where Hubert Minnis was 4 1/2 years ago. First the party was dumped in his lap, then he had to go to convention to become officially elected leader. Many become hungry for power, especially after the begin to miss the treats, delights and opportunities and privileges the last five years in power brought them. Living as an ordinary citizen is too difficult for them. So they want to hunt again. And since it is not silly season yet, they will turn on their leaders. So Brave Davis mostly and his officers will spen most of the next 4 1/2 years fighting off their own power hungry and disgruntled members, not unlike Minnis had to do.
It was with Goombay Summers that illigimate child birth exploded. Not only did the festival make young girls more accessible for sexual activity, but after a while it became fashionable for 16 and 17 and 18 years old girls to have babies. That was their first goal after finishing high school, if they didn’t get kicked out for being pregnant.
Twerkin is the new ring play. How did one of the ring play songs go ‘take that penny sausage and put it up in there’ and the boys would wind up on the girls dem. Probably it was the first time some boys and girls found out their anatomy was different, playing ring play (and dolly house when every boy wanted to be the daddy and girls wanted to play mommy. And then the boys realize they couldn’t tuck their shirts in their pants after playing ring play. Not saying it was right nor is twerkin. We had a grandma. Somehow her timing was perfect for punishment. Just when the ring play got good you would feel this wet towel across your back. But cell phones with cameras and social media are taking all the fun and secrets out of growing up. Had it not hit social media the school master or mistress could have dealt with it internally. But now it has become a national issue. Then let’s not forget Goombay Summer. The young girls use to go down town to shake up they self. Was it 4-6 eeeks every summer. Then when schools reopened it was discovered that a lot of school girls were pregnant. (They been shaking alright). And even with Junior Junkanoo. Not until recently did they had to put a stop to what was becoming a contest in vulgarity.
