A delicate situation that requires more investigation. RIP.

‘ Revelation 18:4 - King James Version
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. ‘

Unless and until Brave Davis or any other government of The BaHAMAS or any other major Caribbean country is willing to stand up, either b singularly, like Pindling did to free Nelson Mandela and help end apartheid in South Africa and bring an end to the War on Black people ( aka know as tge ‘war on drugs,’ and the war on illegal immigrants’ and various other names that was started under J Edgar Hoover and carried on by every president that served since he was head of the CIA and continued on with Richard Nixan and Ronald Reagan and included the Bush’s and Bill Clinton and even Barak Obama, nothing will change with the crime situation in The Bahamas. Successive governments have bought into the American system of policing that declares war on the young ( Black) men of this country, treating them as the enemy ( insurgents) and the mission is either to see them in jail or DEAD! What is a country that is more than willing to give you ammunition and weapons to fight against your own people but hardly a morsel of bread to feed the hungry. Come out of hermy people. Else you be partakeers if her what?

John says...

Why don’t you send your dumb ass kids there to fight for other people’s things? Haiti has enough resources ( like oil and gold and produce) to support its own people. But The US and Canada and France will not release the stranglehold they had in Haiti since that country and its people fought for and paid for their freedom. But look what is happening now. The Haitians are going to America and occupying from Florida to New York. From California to the East Coast and no one can stop them. And what does the Bible say about this; “ I will judge that strange land that enslaved your forefathers and mistreated you. And you ( the descendants of slaves) shall come out of that country with great riches!!’ If slavery was real, then reparations for slavery must also be real. If racial abuse and discrimination was and still is real, then the judgment for these sins must also be real and tge 600 years for slavery and racism must also be great… let us pray, amen!

Where is the billions in aid that was pledged to Haiti since the earthquake and thevUS has been withholding? billions!! Now they send the lady, who means well, bearing measly gifts , one for $50 million for Haiti. Will the Caribbean leaders sit and cheer when the US comes back into this territory playing mind games and bambozzling the people again? Are these leaders supposed to bow to Uncle Sam and say on behalf of Haiti ‘ Thank you, o mister, master, sir?’ How much aid has the US given the Ukraine since the Russian war began? Keep your measly $50 million and give Haiti the billions you been holding from them!

Was this a case of attempted armed robbery or a case of mistaken identity in the case of the victim who was chased and killed in Pinewood? The victim does not live on New Providence and was only here to renew his passport. Apparently he was staying with relatives, who may have been the intended target or was he a victim of an attempted murder? As for the senior citizen who was viciously beaten through Malcolm Road by a gang of ‘thugs’. Then the Chinese national who was shot during an armed robbery?
.
.
Yes equipping the police with vehicles and other needed tools is a good thing, but it alone will not stop crime. The murder count at 50 in only five months of tge year demonstrates that. There has to be more intervention with young males between the ages of 16 and 25, who apparently have too much freedom and free time. What was the proposal under Pindling? They f you are between the ages of 16 and 25, male and a Bahamian citizen or permanent resident ( should be included) and not gainfully employen you must sign up for two years of national service. This will be a paid service and young men will be allowed to servie in various areas including tge hospital, tge Defe

There has to be more intervention with young males especially, between the ages of 16 and 25, who apparently have too much freedom and free time on their hands. What was the proposal under PM Pindling? That if you are between the ages of 16 and 25, male and a Bahamian citizen or permanent resident ( should be included) and not gainfully employed you must sign up for two years of national service. This will be a paid service and young men will be allowed to servie in various areas including the hospital, the Defense force. And private enterprise. Their tour of duty will also include classroom time and disciplinary training.

This one have a gun, that one have a gun, erryone have a gun!!! How did The BaHAMAS, at least Nee Providence, become so steeped in a gun culture? Where did the influence come from? And since both the victims and perpetrators of gun crimes are mostly between the ages of 27 and 28, what efforts are being made to debrief young men especially , of this culture? Not just the desire to bear arms but to use them in most instances to commit murder. And why bail for those accused of murder. If you must give bail, then make the conditions more restrictive and more confining, not unlike house arrest.

On the one hand, the hotels are bragging about their bookings being ‘record breaking’ post Covid. So it also follows that their profits have been record breaking. So why try to pass more costs on their employees who have been the sacrificial lambs during the pandemic? And yes Covid is still around. Not only did Bahamians who stayed at major resorts get infected with Covid, entire families, but entire staff who worked at cruise ports on the Family Islands come down with Covid. Did government stop reporting Covid cases to protect the tourist industry? And what is the benefit of taking Covid vaccines if you haven’t already taken them? Doesn’t the risks outweigh the benefits? And that is part of the problem in the hotels and on cruise ships. Vaccines do not cure or prevent Covid, but suppresses the symptoms, so vaccinated people will not always test positive when they have the virus, so they walk around affecting others. And because their symptoms are suppressed, they may die from damage to organs done by the virus. So their deaths are not classified as Covid related.

On Change law so staff pay for COVID tests

Was this story written by a three year old? Yea it tells you all the drama and suspense. And all the panic and goriness of ‘blood everywhere.’ And how the police came and everyone was kicked out of the club, but ‘what happened to the man’s FOOT???’
