Be thankful that Shell’s BPL LNG plant was not yet built. Sources are reporting that smaller, less developed countries, like The Bahamas, that entered into similar bdeals with LNG companies are finding that these companies are not supplying the power companies with sufficient LNG due to a ‘shortage’ of the gas. Instead they.are opting to sell their products to larger, more developed countries at premium prices and for promises of lucrative benefits in the future. And some countries that have agreements with China and cannot meet their financial obligations to China are now having power outages that last 12 hours a day every day.

Victim blaming is the lamest excuse to tolerate crime. And unjustified pointing of fingers may a subtle way of condoning the actions of criminals. I am starting to believe that there are too many foreign ‘agents’ operating in this country attempting to justify their actions if murder and create the impression that the killers are all Bahamians. If persons are being killed for crimes that do not include murder, then what should be the penalty for cold-blooded murderers who kill them?

No matter how much legislations are passed, they cannot stop a racist person from being prejudiced against a Black person. Laws may prevent some of their actions, Lu lynching or denial of service, but at the end of the day that person is still racist. Similar with people who live alternative (sexually oriented) lifestyles. The average person will say , I have no problem with them being gay or lesbian or whatever, just don’t be all up in my face about it.’ I don’t need to know b what you ‘does’ or who you ‘does’ it with. And if that is the mindset of BTC’s customers, That they don’t want no person, males or females all up in their faces, demanding you accept their sexual disuse ions, then BTC has to do what is necessary to protect their revenue. If BTC hires an ambassador or spokesman, then obviously the intention is to increase revenue not decrease it. So if the market is not yet ready for an alternative style she cannot blame BTC. She didn’t accomplish the goal for which she was engaged. In other words , if she was averaging 8-10 points a game and that average drops to 4-5 points and the team decides to disengage her, will she also blame that in her masculine dress and sexual orientation? and is she willing to tone down her masculine dress and attitude?

Maybe it’s time to get Caucasian Bahamians, those of Chinese and Greek origins and other Ethnicities to serve on the police and defense forces and other public duties so as to come under the same scrutiny about being involved in crime. Too many young men and now even not so old men are being slaughtered in this country and it’s being brushed aside as ‘he mussy was involved in crime or he mussy do someone something.’ Murder is murder. When all those young children were slaughtered in the US did you go and enquirer as to if they did anyone anything? Or even their teachers for that matter. Or the victims of the church shooting or the food store even. Well they claim that one was racially motivated. They were killed for being black. And the victims of mass murders before and even after the school shootings. The point is bring the perpetrators of the murder to justice then let them justify their actions.

If you read or listen to other reports then that is the information given. Unfortunately police are on the scene of yet another murder.

The book is not being judged by its cover except by you to make nasty insinuations. But if a person is wearing the military uniform of this country and is gunned down by three armed gunmen, then that should concern the top brass and every citizen. Firstly was he killed for matters as a private citizen? Was he executed because he executed his duties as a marine? Was it an armed robbery gone wrong. And the fact that he was fully attired makes it even more urgent to find out the motive for his death. When you attempt to justify murder, that’s how the rate got to where it is now.

A military man was gunned down in full uniform and, for the country it’s business as usual. Not long ago when these daring murders occurred, the narrative was. “It’s nothing to be highly concerned about. It’s one set of bad guys killing up another set of bad guys. Gang wars, turf wars. But the general public is safe. But is the general public safe. If one was to examine the profiles of a number of the last murder victims, they don’t appear to be gangsters or drug dealers even. Many were gainfully employed and into family life. Now officers in uniform getting gunned down and hardly and public or official outcry.
