The US has a right to raise its level of caution to protect its citizens. But why are there so many tourists, mostly Americans, walking around this country with no masks? And this is whilst health officials are calling for mask mandates to be reinstated in the US. Michael Darville dem have to be brain cripple. And now with all the home tests being available for as little as$10, the real number of cases in the country will not be known. Persons will buy a kit, take the test and if it is positive, they won’t reveal the results. Houston we have a problem.

The autopsies may be complete but maybe they are awaiting a toxicology report that is supposed to come from a lab somewhere in the US. And, of course, they may want to brief families and loved ones before the report is made public.

Experts had warned that as they come out of the pandemic, children who have been curfew and lockdowns will demonstrate strange and unusual behaviors and it will be laced with violence. Other behaviors will include bed wetting, anxiety attacks, being withdrawn or otherwise out of one’s normal character..
.
They also talk as SBS or scattered brain syndrome that is a long term effect of Covid in adults. Persons tend to forget simple things like where they live or work, family members or their names or usual everyday chores and events. Some resort to unusual behaviors like stripping naked in public or in front of family members, having conversations with imaginary people or becoming flustered or upset for no reason. They don’t know if the condition is temporary, long term or permanent.
.
.
And another issue that is going on but not getting much attention is the number of persons, mostly older people who have taken Covid vaccines and have seizures and’heart attacks’. These seizures or attacks are usually fatal and occurs without notice. Several have occurred over the past few days and all the victims succumbed,

YALL ain’t get it ay? All those countries and companies that lost millions and billions during the pandemic attempting to recoup their losses. Do you think they could fix the shipping problem if they really wanted to? Orr! So the war has caused the Russian ruble from being worth $1.00 to the US $ to now being worthless (1 cent). But Russia is still trading oil, vodka, seafood and other goods. So who is benefiting? Orr. . Just a few weeks ago a 2 pound bag of snow crab legs was $48 or $24. T use to be half of that. Today was n the food store the same 2 pound package costs $89.00 or $45 a pound. A 5 pound box o f l crab legs costs $198 or about $40 a pound. Who is benefiting?

Is it usual for two separate villas to be operating on the same air conditioning unit? Was the water heater gas or electric? And if it was a faulty heater, why would it contaminate two separate villas? It is pathetic the idiots coming on here attempting to blame the government. But it would be in Sandals ( and the government’s ) best interest to do full autopsies before the bodies leave the country. This unfortunate incident has hit the international media. And if it was due to carelessness of the resort , an unfortunate accident or some activity of the victims that brought about their own demise, the world wants to know. Any loss of life in any situation is unfortunate and certainly other guests at this resort and those planning to be there soon will want to know that the property is safe. And a full investigation should not exclude possible drug overdose as symptoms may be similar to asphyxiation from a gas or carbon monoxide poisoning.

Another Avenue for fraud is ads on the internet. A number of ads for items on Facebook are fake. Both local and international. And there’s no way to tell until you give them your money. Best to pay through PayPal. At least you stand some chance of getting your money back. Some fraudsters go also far as to send fake tracking numbers. And only after you go to the courier you find out it’s not your package. They do this to buy time because you have to put a claim with PayPal within 90 days of payment.

Things this government MUST DO, if they want to be returned to office and, more importantly serve the Bahamian people:

government must revamp the tax system: Ever since the introduction of VAT, the cost of living in this country is too high, especially for Bahamians. Government is double dipping be collecting VAT and customs duties and not only is this making the cost of living too high, bur MOST of the businesses who try to faithfully pay all these taxes are going out of business. Government is giving M more advantage to people who smuggle and causing those that are legitimate business to turn to smuggling when, year after year, they pay thousands, hundreds of thousands or even millions to government in taxes and cant realize a profit or fair profit.\
.
government must ensure workers are adequately paid by foreign companies: All the large projects are resorting to bringing in foreign workers to avoid paying Bahamians fair wages. This happened on Bah Mar, The Pointe and several other major projects. Government must enforce the labor laws of this country and workers must not let foreigners continue to come into the country and take their jobs. These are mostly once in a lifetime opportunities and Bahamians MUST benefit.

government must return to pindlings bahamization policy. Even though there are more qualified Bahamians in the work force . less Bahamians are holding key positions, especially in the hotel/tourist industry, Pindling required that Bahamians be trained to fill positions held by foreigners else work permits will not be renewed.

pindling also required that foreign companies make some of their shares available to Bahamians. DISNEY and the cruise industry, for example is a multi-Billion dollar industry. Some 32 million people will be taking a cruise annually by 2030 How much of this industry is owned by Bahamians how much of the tourist or cruise dollar remains in this country?
