Not Long before his death Dr. Miles Munroe sent a clear message to the prime minister of this country telling him that he (Perry Christie) as prime minister, must take the lead on the fight against crime. In other words Perry Christie must stop being a coward and lead his government to do what needs to be done to bring crime under control. MURDER especially! Since then little has been done or said by the government and with three days to go the Bahamas has already recorded the bloodiest year in its modern history. Even if you, as a government, do not believe in the death penalty, how can you justify having more than 80 percent of the people who commit murder roam the streets freely? How can you justify a 5% conviction rate for murder and a the same time say that you are serious about stamping it out? The records show that many persons who kill will kill again and even after the second time, and eventually they themselves will be killed. The bible also teaches us that if you leave murderers in society murder will become common place. Many persons who kill are also strung out on drugs, so they have no remorse r no conscience. when Dr. Miles Munroe told the prime minister to stop being a coward and take the lead on Crime he was repeating what Jesus Christ said just before he too left this earth. In John 14:27 Christ says. "Peace I leave with you: my peace I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled nor let it be afraid". Christ has already overcome the wickedness of this world. Don't not be a coward and stand up against wickedness.
Everyone faulting ZNS coverage of the Junkanoo Parade. Say ZNS the national station only broadcast the first half of the parade and even that was $hitty because they only had one camera and reporter on Bay Street. Bahamians on the family islands did not get to see the entire parade or full coverage of the parade route. What is wrong with our natiojal corporations? First Bahamasair kill Christmas for thousands of Bahamians and hundreds of tourist then ZNS broadcast broadcast junkanoo like they operating out of a cigar box budget. Bahamians getting short change round and round.
When an single worker feels the company he works for can no longer fulfill his needs in terms of salary, promotion or personal satisfaction, he looks elsewhere for employment. What a union does is forces a company to make adjustments and to keep undesirarable or non-productive workers and to promote persons who don't deserve promotions and usually this is done by an increase in cost to the customer.
These pilots made a really dumb move! They crippled the nation and virtually destroyed Bahamasair's most profitable season. So how can they justify their demands now? In fact they gave Bahamasair the perfect reason for not being able to meet them. They played their trump card and it didn't win the game for them so what are they going to do now as the airline goes into its slowest season?
You wann know why the murder rate aint going down? Go to a bank and get 5 stacks of $1.00 bills. Label a stack for each year from 2010 to 2014. Now take a dollar bill from each stack for each murder for which there was a conviction in that year. Now take the rest of bills and throw in the garbage. Then look at what you have left. That's how we throwing lives away in the Bahamas. Ok so you don't want to throw the bills away? So take them out the garbage and stack them up. That stack represents the persons who have committed murder in the Bahamas in the past five years and have not been convicted nor punished! So ok lets take away a few notes for those murderers who have themselves been killed and a few more for those who have killed more than once. But look at the size of that stack that remains (in society) And you still wann know why the crime problem (murder especially) ain't going no where?
