I agree as well with Mr. Bran, I just dont see who is going to be right for the DNA party for the next election. Maybe some FNM and PLP reps will step down and join Mr. Bran, but then again although the country may have a different leader, the group that makes up the governing party will still be saturated by some of the dishonest peoples. I mean we only have a hand full of honest qualified persons who are fit and/or interested in politics. I trust that between now and 2017, Bran will focus on the best possible candidates for his party as well as figuring out who will take on each ministry and do their jobs properly if they were to win. Those representatives he had last time are not fit enough for such critical responsibilities. Simply having a good business does not mean that you are fit for representing people and taking on national issues as seen with his prior candidates.. It aint no way in hell anyone ga vote for sammy star or that cronie from galleria cinemas.

This title is very misleading, they need to change it to "Leon Williams, one of many that may be considered for Senior Adviser on C&W Board"

Well I believe, all that time that they were in meetings they were really discussing how CWC were going to take over ZNS, and on the last day they were probably mitigating on how they were going to lie to the Bahamian people about the b.s of a 'face saving' deal that in turn got us no where as far as the promised 'majority ownership'. I mean it is obvious that the Bahamas is in debt of more than 3 billion and the government does not have enough money to invest in all of these Utility corporations that requires constant upgrades as time goes on. So the answer to all of this will be just as the FNM had envisioned: If we dont have enough money to keep these corporations up to par with the latest technologies of the world, we might as well hire a company that has the infrastructure, supplies, and the focus that all these companies desperately need. A smart business move but at the same time, one will ask, Well why didnt the FNM secure a 51% for the people/Bahamas and 49% for CWC from the get go. I presume the answer to that will be that CWC would not have taken on such an endeavor if they had not secured a majority percentage hence leaving BTC the way it was, and the government still not knowing what to do as well as not having the money to do it.

So I guess VAT is not coming despite them trying to force it down our already strangled throats, and the STEM cell project is on hold and the Prime Minister himself regrets the decision of spending one million plus dollars on a referendum that he didnt respect in regard to the majority vote that in turn increased our national debt. Hmmm, seems like they love to sell dreams to the people, because of the fact that their own agenda did not reflect or encompass these three main issues that they all of sudden became interested in and it is now holding the country hostage on an international level. Power itself has time and time again proved to be detrimental to the human mind and works, once they technically possess it. I really dont think the FNM is going to make any more of a difference other than try to cover or clean up the PLP's mistakes on top of their own.

JohnDoes says...

So you have a party, that is supposed to be one, yet disagreeing with one another, making the other seem less credible than the other even when both persons are responsible for two completely different ministries. This Pinder man is driving for his own selfish desires in this country, the people voted him in on the PLP's behalf but he is proving to counteract his own party's agenda with his hidden plans to manipulate the financial system.

The thing is Domestic Crime is rampant every where. Domestic crimes are actually the most dangerous crimes a police officer can respond to. This is a fact. @conernedcitizen Parents do take this out of hand but you have to blame the parent, there is nothing wrong with correction/chastisement of your offspring as long as you take the time to teach your children what the right thing to do is and why. Most parents chastise their children without even explaining or teaching them the right thing because there is a lack of concern for the moral development of the child, and those are the children that tend to grow up violent because they are confused and dont know any better. So although I do believe it is wrong to abuse children, their is nothing wrong with chastisement as long as the lesson is learnt in the end.
