Arming Security Guards will only prove disastrous. There will have to be proper training of how to carry, and when to use. All of that will also cost companies extra money in securing firearms, proper storage, and managing who has a gun, how many bullets etc. Then the 'professional' security guards will really show out whilst the ones who are just in for a pay check will probably be weeded out thus reducing the amount security guards, in turn allowing more regulations and standards for the Security position which is a lot of what most of these security officers 'dont' have. The best bet is to just become police officers. Security guards and companies dont have enough collateral to deal with the possible mistakes by these persons. Its too much of a collateral affect of arming security officers and citizens. Not everyone is responsible enough to conduct themselves let along carry a gun also. These security companies are only good for observing and reporting to police, that is it. Arming securities will of course produce more problems.

Well I hope you all heard the news from the horses mouth that as long as the Privy Council exists, it is highly unlikely that the 'Death Penalty' will be sought. So the question is, Who is really in charge? I know Barbados and the latter also adhere to the Privy Council but at the same time, they are still carrying out the Death Penalty. Hell with the European Union, they have their barriers on crime but what does that have to do with us? Is this government taking 'governance' seriously? This is a prime example of the Government's focus and infatuation with Kleptocracy. This is a Kleptocracy, not a democracy, that is just for 'show'. Our criminals are using old brazen tactics and beat our system every time. I know that the man they charged out of the 60 people held for the Fox Hill massacre (for example), is probably telling the truth. The suspect has given substantial evidence that is alleged to not have placed him on the scene, video surveillance and all yet he is remanded until March for a trial. This is not due process, this is corruption to promote false confession in order to produce a so called 'speedy process'. We the people are not free. I advise everyone to start saving, not for VAT, but to get the hell out of here. The government is not focused on the people, they are more concerned with hiding the atrocities of a failed plan, mainly because of their Pride and now the Privy Council has them by the noose. I rather the Queen of England address us than Mr Oblivious Christie because it seems as if, he dont even care, or too old to possess the mental capacity that the boy who cries 'wolf' will not be taken seriously until it is too late. This whole scenario and many more is why Bahamians dont respect the law, and do as they please. The government is too busy asking others for advice, but how can they if they cant even recognize and relate to the 'average' Bahamian, their way of life. This is crazy, excuse to pussyfoot to excuse and more pussyfoot. I have lost hope for this country.

Funny thing is, If you are out on bail in the U.S. and get caught again doing some other shxt. You will be sent back to jail with no bail until you finish court/trial for the reason you on bail and the crime you got caught for. Here it seems as if, everytime you get caught/locked up for something, they treat you as if you have no history. So its like, new case, fxck your history, here is your bail.

Meanwhile, my ostrich has laid a mighty big egg unfortunately it has no value as a precious metal. Ostrich egg's are yummy though, but I have to wait so long before it lays another. Also if you eat too many ostrich eggs, especially mine, you might turn into one yourself. People think my Ostrich is a Emu but time and time again I have to reiterate that my Ostrich is a ratite relative of the Emu and is much larger than my Ostrich. Anyway, time to take my ostrich out to ride across the Serengeti like a Stallion in the shadows.

Exactly, may your Goose live on to lay many more golden eggs. However, my ostrich has laid a mighty big egg unfortunately it has no value as a precious metal. The thing is John, My ostrich has layed only 1 egg for the year of 2013. Is it strange that this happened? Im not sure, but ive found out that ostrich's can lay up to 20 eggs, laying one egg every two to three days. I bought my ostrich from a fellow down in inagua. He said he rarely let the ostrich feed on its own, so he just gave it raw wild hog scraps. My ostrich is yellowing in the face, I think it has jaundice or something however Ive never known ostrich's to get jaundice. Any hoo, I think my ostrich is African traded through the once unknown Bermuda Square. Maybe thats why my ostrich hates to look at the beautiful ocean. Perhaps 2014 will be a better year for my ostrich, so that my ostrich can have a race with the unicorns in Europe.. Something to think about.

The shameful part about the typical 'Bahamian' is that all of them do not have this common sense to bring about change in the country. The people themselves are stressed and border line giving up because of unemployment, lies and broken promises from the government etc. and are retaliating in the sense that 'If we do it the way they say do it, we get nothing in return' So 'we might as well take and get what we want however we do it' The governments focus on foreigners blinded them from the problems of their own people and now that it is out of hand, they want to try and cap it. Its too late the level of crime in the types of crime committed is already appalling. How can we advertise a country that is basically in turmoil in the key areas of keeping a country safe, especially opportunity for the people. The people gave up on the government a long time ago. They only vote because it is their right. We only have two options anyway and they both seem to be up the same creek.

This Gang Unit should have been implemented years ago. The Gang Unit is what is actually helping both New York & Chicago crack down on gangs. You do need a permanent department that handles and focuses on just Gangs just like how the DEU focuses on just drugs. These gangs are behind serious organized crime. Just how the RBPF came out with Rapid Strike for crime intervention and gun removal, they should also bring that back to assist the Gang Unit, all unmarked and plain clothes. I must also admit that some officers take these types of responsibilities for granted and abuse their powers. So however these are implemented, officer safety, public safety and respect must also be adhered. Please bring the professionals out, not the bad attitude cronies. They have to recognize that profiling is not the answer, not everyone is a criminal and they must also announce themselves accordingly, and handle persons with respect. I can see this working, but because of the many misconducts of officers themselves, this can also be very detrimental to the whole initiative.
