I never had to make that choice @BeachBoy, sound like you did though? All im simply saying is people choose to be homosexual, if you have to choose then something is wrong with your morals.

JohnDoes says...

His support for gay rights in a country that has many other moral dilemmas will only prove disastrous, if he even thinks about bringing it up. We must realize that the gay and lesbian are troubled persons who automatically chooses to eliminate pro-creation for their own personal desires. This is detrimental to the World, and if it does become legal around the world, it will be a major sign of prophecy and the last days if one were a christian. Naturally the upcoming generations will be confused, then they will see homosexuality as normal and as a result destroy the morals that we were brought up on as human beings and of course a slowed reduced incline in population. The APA (American Psychiatric Association) declassifies Homosexuality as a mental disorder or anything that is natural or genetic. It is simply people wanting/seeking to fuel lustful desire/pleasures by trying to make it seem that it is just a natural condition. People are not born this way, it is simply by choice and their denial to believe that it is wrong. You should be criticized. Your support should be kept in private to yourself, and your support does not represent the people of the Bahamas, only yourself. So just because you are a foreign affairs minister does not mean that you should represent your people as advocates for homosexuality because that is how it will be viewed and when foreigners see the Bahamas they will see you, and think that because you are for it, we are for it, and that is very misleading to the wider world population. These homosexuals need to deal with their business in private and let the Lord God judge them accordingly.

The lies and excuses that will be dished out with this will be very interesting. Cant wait to see what Mr. Oblivious aka Mr. Christie will say if he says anything.

Boy if ya have some nice looking factory rims on your car, I suggest getting security lugs. These fellas aint playing on this road, they would take anything. The Bahamas better wake up and focus on this unemployment dilemma. You cant just offer jobs that require years of experience if most of your population is looking to build experience. I swear the jobs that are available are only catering to those that already have good jobs but are looking for better ones. If one was to go and get certifications, degrees etc. They would still be out of a job because they have no experience. How is your people suppose to rise when you don't even give them a chance? Thats something that the labor board needs to recognize. There is no 'equal opportunity' here that is why and how the foreigners come in to invest and take jobs from the people who work hard to earn it yet the government looks at this as business tourism. They are literally taking food from the peoples mouths, and this is one of the many forms of retaliation that the people are resorting to, I dont even want imagine the desperation after VAT is implemented. I swear ya better not even get your hopes up for Bahamar because all those jobs want 3-10 or more years experience as well. I suggest all unfortunate Bahamians out there who are working hard and being put on the back burner, to try and get close with persons who are a high up in a successful businesses, because seems like that is the only way for you to get a job, if you know someone.

times have changed my friend, especially now that the U.S is more diverse than ever before.

This country got it backwards. First of all, a Death Penalty technically exists but because of an European Union we refuse to follow it through. The EU is only concerned with Europe and its surrounding territory. We are a Commonwealth where we use the Queen as Head and British form of Parliament, not laws and/or way of life. That is up to the members of our governing body. Secondly, on a different note to further represent why we have it backwards is the GED vs. BGCSE. Time and time again I see a lot of Bahamians turned away from opportunities because of the misinformation given by employers and members of the Ministry of Education as it relates to the GED and its value. Yes the GED is an american form of testing for those that have not completed high school and needs high school qualification, but because Bahamians hardly know anything about it, they say and believe that the GED is below the BGCSE. Technically that is WRONG according the uk naric (a national agency that works on behalf of the UK Government to provide a range of advisory services that compare international qualifications). When you go to school abroad, the U.S specifically, they ask Bahamians for BGCSEs with passes in Math and English etc., OR if you have the GED. So why in the Bahamas when you tell employers you dont have the BGCSE but you have the GED they insist that the BGCSE is higher and the GED isnt worth anything. That is ignorance at its finest. For example: One may not attend high school in the Bahamas, but if he/she passes the required BGCSE's in Math's and English etc, he/she would be suitable for a job and/or college in the Bahamas or USA. So in turn it is the same type of certification as the GED in regard to the fact that those who did not complete high school but passes and receives the GED will be suitable for a job and/or college in the USA which will justify why they should be allowed the same here in the Bahamas. Many think the GED is just a piece of paper, but tests are taken in the same important subjects like the BGCSE and not many pass just like the BGCSE. So ultimately we see things like this that are big problems in our system that we tend to put a blind eye toward, and it limits our productivity. I guarantee anyone in Ministry of Education will laugh at you when you say GED because they think, and only because they know about the BGCSE, that the GED is worthless. This is a gray area in our system that needs some serious serious attention and enlightenment.

I wonder if they are going to realize that this immigration problem is the reason why they aint have nothing in the first place. As soon as they get anything them haitians for example already line up out the door ready to take whats free and spend a little bit. The Army cant even help the natives in need because the immigrants take it all. I remember about 5 or so years ago I went to do some community service for them to give back. They had me work in the clothes shop and them Haitians mussy could have smelled that when that container pull up with all the donated clothes, we couldn't even sort and price (maximum price is probably $5) properly without them acting like a bunch of animals fighting for the 'good' stuff, one of my partners got bitten by one simply because of the desperation. The little problems eventually lead to great problems.

Yes they have so many filters it is ridiculous. We all know there are many many signals that can be sent through the cable line. The main reason is because if you went to the states and set up an apartment, and have you cable connected, you could access TV and Internet from all outlets depending on which one you hook up, either the TV box or Modem . Now they may have it set up differently filter wise but at the same time this set up we have down here is so old school and they charge us so much for simple things.

And Cable Bahamas still doing shxt. They rather charge each room in a house separately for a plan and on top of that the 'NO DATA' problem that we are spending an arm and leg to receive. In the cable age around the world, we are supposed to have to option to rent or own a box (which we do), whilst being charged 'one' bill for a plan that is accessed in all rooms and outlets, maybe a lil extra depending on specific packages. On top of that, internet should be able to be accessed from any cable outlet within a household, where as i should be able to hook my modem up to any cable outlet and receive internet access. Cable bahamas rather have a separate cable line just for internet that cannot be accessed from any other outlet. Thus you would have to spend more money for a separate outlet/connection just to move your modem to another room. Yes you would say, well just get wifi but that is besides the point because some areas in a household cannot recieve proper wifi coverage. The LATINO versions of the channels especially need to be severed for the english, in an english speaking territory. Prime example of how investors come here to rob us for what is supposed to be affordable services, and how the government doesnt have enough money to implement their own solutions. So now the rich man comes here with his many businesses around the world and ttaxes the hell out of us the consumer.
